So the Fat Face one was a bit marmite.. what say you to this one? Better?

I didn't see your other post but this dress looks very nice.

Look good on you, would like to see what's going on at the side though, is it knotted?

roarfeckingroar Wed 03-Jun-20 14:19:46

It's nice but you have a great figure and I don't think this dress highlights that.

dudsville Wed 03-Jun-20 14:21:01

It's a lovely dress, nice colour. I didn't see your other thread.

Terralee Wed 03-Jun-20 14:22:00

I like it & it suits you but as pp said you have a good figure don't hide it.
You could wear shorter items I think!

Lardlizard Wed 03-Jun-20 14:27:09

Knot in the wrong place, would be better if the knot was higher up

AriettyHomily Wed 03-Jun-20 14:39:34

I think the knot needs to be higher, above your hip.

ZaraW Wed 03-Jun-20 14:42:32

You have a great figure. Don't like the dress.

pinkmoomin Wed 03-Jun-20 15:00:07

I don’t think the tight sleeves and side knot due justice to your great figure. It may look better with heels, but don’t think it works with flats.

peachypetite Wed 03-Jun-20 15:01:14

I think it’s a bit on the frumpy side OP. You have a nice figure so don’t need to cover it all up.

DavetheCat2001 Wed 03-Jun-20 16:01:43

Hmm..can anyone recommend me some nice dresses then please?

I agree with pps that the dress doesn't do you any favours. IMO needs to be a lower neckline and/or higher hemline and more fitted at waist.

IndecentFeminist Wed 03-Jun-20 16:18:08

It's ok. A bit 'meh' though, you could do better.

DavetheCat2001 Wed 03-Jun-20 16:20:11 any suggestions?

What kind of dress are you after? Casual, going out?

DavetheCat2001 Wed 03-Jun-20 16:29:47

Casual, day dresses to wear to work/weekends.

I tend towards a more alternative style, not into frills and not particularly girly. Have bright coloured hair/nose ring etc

I wear converse a lot (I know..a bit sin to some!)

I'll try the orange dress again with the bow bit tied better. I just chucked it on quickly this morning.

..also not fond of showing too much flesh.

I think the length isn't the best on you, you have a lovely shape and it cuts your legs wrong

Deadringer Wed 03-Jun-20 16:46:50

I think it's lovely on you, you have a fab figure.

peachypetite Wed 03-Jun-20 17:09:49

I think a knee length wrap dress would be much more flattering without being revealing

Bluntness100 Wed 03-Jun-20 17:14:17

I think it’s ok, a bit “Boden mum” which you sound like you’re not.

DavetheCat2001 Wed 03-Jun-20 17:15:59

It is Boden..don't know what I am really! I clearly have lost my sense of what looks good on me.

Bluntness100 Wed 03-Jun-20 17:41:24

It is Boden

I won’t lie. Bit surprised I was right 🤣
