Best Work Suit

Does anyone have any recommendations for smart work suit? I have to wear a black suit for work. I prefer a slightly longer line jacket (am long bodied) and 7/8 style trousers.
My job provides dry cleaning so washing is not a problem. I would love it to look just a little more classy than the hideous one I have been wearing lately!
Thank-you so much.

Also Hobbs. But you haven't spoken about budget so hard to tell!

You must work for an undertaker.

No one on earth is buying work clothes atm so you are in the best possible position to get a bargain at high end shops. What’s your budget?

If you're near London there's a shop on Chancery Lane where barristers shop, Ede & Ravenscroft. It's probably not open at weekends, or indeed at the moment.

Barristers have to wear black in court, so they sell a lot of black suits. Not cheap but very good quality and stylish: they sell other, lovely, clothes too, for weekend barristers.

@SeaRabbit the ladies' shop at E&R is madham.co.uk and they deliver. Not cheap though!

Also Hobbs did a nice slightly slightly cropped black trouser suit a few years back so they might have something similar now.

It is a shame E&R are shut in real life as the ladies there are so helpful and will spend as long with you as you need to get you what you need and will recommend alterations as necessary. I've been going there for many years now.

I have a lovely Reiss suit. I bought it on ebay (the source of all my nice work clothes tbh)
