Mitchum Deodorant - What have they done to Powder Fresh?

I've bought Mitchum Powder Fresh since long before it was available in the UK, would stock up on visits to the US and have family bring it over when they visited here.

I couldn't get powder fresh anywhere for a while and bought one with a peachy coloured label - it smelled awful. Now powder fresh is back on the shelves and it smells awful now too, nothing like the original.

Any recommendations on what I should buy now, I've been using Mitchum for so long that I don't even look at other deodorants so no idea what is good and what isn't.

I haven't noticed a difference ?

This is my fave anti perspirant too. It survives even 12 hour shifts in full PPE on a hot day Smile

I wonder if there is old stock out there I could find. I got this one in Tesco after they were out of stock.

The Sure sensitive one in the white/pink box is good, I used mitchum for years til I couldn't find it stocked anywhere.

Is that a roll on @pinkrocker?

I got mine from Morrisons a couple of weeks ago. I assume old stock as it is the same smell as usual.

Smiley it's kind of a cream that you twist the base and apply easily. Works really well, as good as mitchum!

I agree with pinkrocker, the Sure Maximum Protection Cream deodorants are better than Mitchum now. They are about £4.99 each, sometimes on offer, but worth it as so effective.

I only use mitchum also, but tend to buy the ice one in the mens section! I've also tried the womens one in the box too. A quick look at the Tesco website shows powder fresh available in the roll on and the boxed types.

The Mitchum deodorant with no smell is good.

Yes I don't like the new smell at all. Smells like those things you put in your wardrobe to keep moths away.

The one with the yellow label - I think it is says something about being 'shower fresh' is awful - smells worse than b.o

Thanks everyone. I had no idea there was an unscented Mitchum, that would do I suppose, although I really liked the powder fresh.

So a few of you have noticed this too, I even think the label is a slightly different shade as well so maybe that will be how to identify old stock.

Ewww, I'll avoid the yellow as well then, the peachy one was horrible too.

The smell has changed! It's awful. I am also finding it now makes me itchy after using it for 20 years. I use the roll on
