Jewellery Ideas for my sister's 40th lockdown birthday

My sister's 40th birthday is in July and I'd really like to buy her a piece of jewellery to keep. She was going to have a party but looks like that might not be possible.

She likes to try to buy from independents rather than chains. She has a boho/ hippy kind of style with bright colours her colouring suits warm tones so was thinking good day. She suits & prefers more bold/ chunky pieces rather than delicate.

Any ideas would be great I'm then going to show her a load and get her to pick so we have a list grin

Budget is about £50-100 but could stretch to more.

*Gold not good day don't know where that came from!

Should have said if something was £50 I'd buy 2 items to make it up to £100.

Bump with screenshots of what she likes only problem is the company is in Israel so bit worried it won't arrive for ages 🤦‍♀️

Ooh that's hard.

I love the muru jewellery constellation necklaces for special birthdays but they are gold vermeil. https://www.murujewellery.com/my-constellation-m27

Chlobo is lovely but more expensive. If she is into boho looks maybe try Etsy it not on the high street for more independent brands.

I also love the Annie Haak stacking bracelets sets but again gold vermeil I think but lovely.

Thanks @MerlinsButler she'd like some Annie Haak I want to get something I know she'll love which is making me confused 😂

Annie Haak is lovely I think especially for a special birthday. I'm sure you will find something she loves. It's nice too that she can always add to the pieces in the future. Good luck.

I bought my sister a Tiffany infinity necklace for her 50th. It means a continuous connection. It did cost around £150.

I got the biggest gold hoops I've ever seen for my 40th of my sister. I love them!

The v&a shop has lovely jewellery like you describe - it’s currently closed but you might be able to browse.

This necklace reminds me of the pictures you’ve posted, and they have other pieces in the same style. I realise Missoma is hardly an independent brand though!

This small, independent does some beautiful pieces. I'm eyeing up some hoops from here.

My mother got me a necklace from Julie Vos for my birthday last year. Her stuff is gorgeous.
