Avon perfumes

Any recommendations? I know nothing about them at all . Do they do any dupes ?

I like little black dress. If you get a catalogue the pages are scented or your Avon rep might have some samples. I find they last about half the day and need a refresh if I want it to last into the evening.

I find them all very very samey - kind of watery vanilla. I know I keep harping back to the good old days (70's) their perfumes were all very individual and I was spoilt for choice. Now it is all sweet nothings! The only one I quite like if the musk one.

Eve Duet is nice and Attraction. Perceive I wasn’t too keen on but that’s the only dud one so far and I’ve tried loads of them.

Avon Eve Truth is a fabulous summer floral. It's a cross between a Marc Jacobs and an Anna Sui IMO. Check out my perfume blog. I do a top ten on Avon perfume every year. Also Imari is a good rose patchouli and Soft Musk is unbeatable for a fiver. //www.iscentyouaday.com

My favourite perfume of all time is Far Away. The only time I’ve ever had compliments. I used to wear j’dore but Avon is a lot cheaper and that much nicer.

I am glad some people have mentioned Avon perfume. I recently bought some Avon makeup on line, and almost opted for some perfume as well, I only remember the Avon perfume from many many years ago, and always liked a lot of their scents. I will have another look now.and maybe opt for couple mentioned above.I never buy expensive top notch perfumes !

Far Away has been an Avon Bestseller since 1992. The perfumer behind it is now head of Fine Fragrances Europe at Givauden, so you are quite to accord it the respect it deserves!

@hammeringinmyhead you have great taste- that one was created by Calice Becker who also made Dior J'Adore, most of the By Kilian range and Tom Ford Velvet orchid. According to Fragrantica, Philosophy Amazing Grace Magnolia is similar. If you like magnolia and don't want a spendy blind buy, try Avon Rare Pearls. It's only £8 so if you don't like it, no harm done.
