I need a longish dress for a ballroom competition on Sunday

I can go shopping this evening only

So what could I buy - I am going to Norwich so any reccommendations need to have branches in Norwich

Slightly evening-y not glittery/glitzy

And I'm off out so will have to look back at just before lunch

Thanks - if MN can find me a drss I will love you forever

Jarrolds is always good but far from cheap - and Debenhams have lots of "evening wear" stuff, sometimes reduced.

Thanks - debenhams is a good idea

Oh poo - I wish I didn't have to bother

There are a few in Debenhams
not sure about the colour
well it's black
a bit casual?
too short?

Dorothy Perkins? (also in black).

That is nice (I like the blue)

More black, and here at Wallis? More:
Too short?
also with pattern, (and the black version)
With flowers.

This is nice, but again might be too short.

My mum has pulled a rabbit out of a hat & produced a really good dress

Fabulous mum (good job we can wear the same size)
