I'm searching for a CC cream or similar that will blur pores, even out skin tone and combat an extremely oily T zone.
Any recommendations please?

I've got really oily skin and get on best with a powder foundation - I use MAC studio fix with a primer underneath.

I'd be interested to see if anyone has a good CC cream to recommend for oily types as would be good for summer months! Never managed to find one that doesn't make me look really shiny after half an hour Grin

I use L'Oréal infalliable mattiffing base and then L'Oréal BB cream and that's worked really well for me.

In lockdown I've started using The Ordinary Sea-buckthorn oil at night and my skin is much less oily now. Significantly better. The problem is that it's bright, bright orange, like the tango man from the 90s.

The Estee Lauder super light coverage foundations are good

I’ve been looking for the same thing and have been seeing really good reviews for La Roche-posay Effaclar Bb Blur cream. It only come in 2 shades though.

Benefit The Porefessional is a brilliant primer. it comes in a mattifying version now as well which I haven’t tried.

I have oily skin and for light coverage the Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream is the best I've tried. I still set it with a bit of powder in the T-zone, but it holds up well and doesn't seem to add to the oil.

I really liked the finish of the la Roche posay effaclar bb cream that drink mentioned, but unfortunately their lightest shade (out of the 2 shades available Hmm) was way too dark for me.

At the moment I'm trying the erborian bb creme and am quite liking that.

pearly how pale are you? I’m pretty pale and was hoping the light/medium would be ok.

Drink I generally have the palest shade in foundations. The LRP effaclar BB wasn't hideously dark on me, but just dark enough that I thought my face was darker than my neck (which tbf is practically blue!).

If you keep an eye out, then somewhere like escentual regularly have 25% / 33% off the French pharmacy brands, which would make it less of a risk to give it a try.

@Richlyfruited The MAC Studio fix sounds good. I like the idea of a powder foundation but was recently put off by a bare minerals one.

@SavoyCabbage it's interesting that the sea-buckthorn oil is helping with oiliness! I will try some of that. Love The Ordinary products.

@Drinkandknowthings Benefit The Porefessional is amazing. It's the only thing i can put on my nose that smooths and blurs the pores instead of sinking into them

I have oily skin and have tried so many foundations and cc creams, I find in the heat mineral foundation or a powder foundation last the longest on me, liquid foundation disappeares on me after 4 hours, powder/ mineral I sometimes get 6/ 7 hours wear. I even when I wear liquid foundation use a little mineral foundation to set, I like Laura mercier best and max factor powder foundation, but that doesn't last quite as long as the LM.

I get in well with pixi h2o skintint. I’m Nc10 in Mac and find I can get away with the cream colour in skintint.

I also like Bobbi brown’s bb cream but it seems to be discontinued now
