Kids clothes sizes - Matalan

I need to get DD an item of clothing from Matalan. I've never bought her clothes from there and the clothes sizes aren't very helpful. There is age 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 etc but their size chart shows the clothes as age 4, 5, 6, 7 etc. So is 6-7 the same size as buying something which is age 6 or age 7 in terms of height etc.

Can anyone shed any light on this please? Thanks

They are up to, DS is in age 10 sizes, but in some it’s 9-10 height 140.
