Yes, I use NARS tinted moisturiser instead of foundation, in the lightest shade. It can be layered a bit if needed. I have quite good skin, very pale, and don't have strong features. It can be hard colour matching foundation and some can also make my face look a bit flat.

Yes, I'm using a Clinique one I had as a sample. It's a bit lighter than my usual foundation. I'm loving it - I can add a bit of concealer where I need it. Great for summer. It has SPF 15 too.

Lighter coverage. I find this suits me much better now I'm late 40s

Yes, I like bare minerals complexion rescue. It doesn't last all day but looks and feels great.

Yes, I'm freckly and have a choice between tinted moisturiser that lets the freckles show or really heavy foundation, anything in between just makes them look grubby. I hate heavy foundation so tinted moisturiser it is.

Yes - 47 and prefer the non cakey look.
I use origins tinted moisturiser or Trinny BFF and have just bought the new origins glow gel moisturiser which I am assuming is like BFF

I also use the Bare Minerals. It's quite buildable and actually I find that it does last all day. I have roseacea and didnused to use a full coverage foundation to cover it, but the Bare Minerals does conceal it quite well.

Also roseaca sufferer and use bare minerals complexion rescue.

Not what you asked but I use IT cosmetics CC cream which is basically a cream with colour correction built in. It also has SPF50.

I love it. Makes my skin dewy and fresh but it would definitely be much more coverage than a tinted moisturizer depending on the look you’re going for Smile.

I’m 39 and anything too heavy on my (dry to the point of cracked cheeks whilst nose sits there like a porous oil slick) skin just would not work.

Yes. Hurtling towards 44, foundation looks ageing on me now. I use tinted moisturiser, B.B. cream which seems to be harder to find now, or regular moisturiser and bronzer / blusher.

Thanks for your replies. Tinted moisturiser seems to be popular. I use a light foundation (No7), do you not think a light foundation would be suitable for you? I know some people use tinted moisturiser during the day and foundation when going out anywhere special. I am tempted to just go with a tinted moisturiser all the time as you don't seem to have to worry about blending as much and shade matching.

Yes. The Laura Mercier tinted moisturisers are great for my skin. I have good skin (age 50) that I take a lot of care of & I think older skin looks better with a lighter coverage (actually, I think all skin looks better if you can actually see the skin).

I really wanted to like the IT Cosmetics CC cream as I think it looks great on Insta etc. Looked like a mask on me.

I'm 26 and I use the Nars tinted moisturiser all the time.I think the coverage is fab for a moisturiser and I love the finish.

(A couple of exceptions - Mac Face and Body is a lovely, light, buildable liquid foundation - it’s like a hybrid tinted moisturiser / foundation. And I love Geurlain Lingerie de Peau for evenings).

Is there one good for sensitive skin which doesn't feel sticky?
It's the stickiness of the ones I tried which put me off.
I tried a Lancome one, and a L'Oréal one.

Use Frezyderm velvet touch tinted sunscreen instead of either. It’s brilliant.

I had a lovely Olay one but the range is so huge, when I went to Boots I couldn't work out which was the one I'd been using!

Ditto the suggestions for BB or CC creams.

I use the Garnier BB cream anti ageing tinted moisturiser. It's cheap as chips and really good. I often see it recommended in magazines.

I make up my own using a few drops of Nars foundation mixed into my regular moisturiser. I find this better as you can add as much, or little, foundation as you like. Unless I’m really dressing up in which case I’ll just use the foundation as is.

@Gemma2019
I love the Garner BB. I’ve switched to Nars now but it used to be my go to.

I struggle to find one the bareminerals just sat on my skin weirdly and I so wanted to love it. I don’t have bad skin but it accentuated my pores and kind of sat in them and just didn’t work for me

I’d try garnier but they don’t have a fragrance free one do they ?
Boots no7 used to do a lovely one but they changed it and the newer ones aren’t as good which is a shame
I’m desperate for a nice one with spf. Maybe I’ll have to mix a foundation with my moisturiser

I've used Clinique cc cream for years. Don't think I own foundation. Does the job fine along with a mattifying powder.

Love the nars one. It’s one of the few products I’ve returned to again and again.

I generally don’t like tinted moisturisers even the Laura Mercier one
The only one I really like is the Nars one which I don’t find sticky

Totally idiotic question. With a TM, BB or CC cream do you rub it into your skin like a moisturiser or kind of let it sit on your skin like a foundation?
I do the latter but it just seems so sticky. The former seems weird!
