Wedding dress help

Hi!

Help a woman out pleeeease!

I'm due to get married in a few months Covid dependant and I really need a dress. I have a £500 budget, it's going to be quite a relaxed and intimate affair but I'd still like to look like a bride.

Can the stylish people in my phone give me some ideas, places to shop. I'm quite tall and lean, doesn't have to be a bridal dress but something light in colour with a sense of occasion!

Thank you

Phase 8 bridal? Can get them delivered to try on which would also be helpful now.

I reckon there should be some good deals around too - if not now, then soon!

In fact there's 25% off at P8 now!

If you filter John Lewis dresses by white and maxi it has loads of wedding dresses including phase eight and whistles but also.. Ghost... these in particular look stunning and I imagine if you are tall and lean you will look like a super model in one

Dorothy Perkins also have a wedding dress collection. Not as nice as Phase Eight IMHO but still, budget friendly and perfectly nice dresses for something off the rack.

Just looked at Monsoon and they have done nice ones too!

Needle and Thread has some lovely things. Their non-bridal dresses are noticeably cheaper and just as pretty as the wedding dresses.

Needle and Thread! I had one of their non-wedding dresses for a wedding dress, and they're great if you're tall and skinny.

This is gorgeous

@Swiftier thank you for the Sezane link. That is going in my favourites. They look fab!

Have you looked at Wed2be? A lot of their dresses are around £500.

Monsoon is a bit hit and miss, worth a look through.

Jenny Packham at Debenhams has a few styles, if you like sequins - like this www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_008020660497_-1

BHLDN (Beholden) is a USA brand but has some gorgeous affordable dresses. Not sure about cost of shipping etc.

Check out the website "Still White". It's a used wedding dress site. Also try "Preowned Wedding Dresses".

@hopetobeabride EBay has some amazing bargains! You just need to check the height of the previous bride. Wed2be is also very cheap.

Oh these suggestions really are amazing. I'm going to wrangle a small child into bed and lose myself online shopping!

@ikeameatballs is wed2be a reputable site? I'd seen a couple on there that looked too good to be true

I looked at a lot of the second hand bridal sites, loads of great ones on StillWhite, but ended up at wed2be - I also had a £500 budget (ended up spending £550, so pretty close!)

Thank you all so much for your replies! I've found a dress, it's from Monsoon, I've found lots of dresses that I'd love to wear in the future and a couple of brands I'd never heard of.
