Favourite clothing store/brand?

I’m feeling a bit stuck in a rut and bored of scrolling through the same websites for inspiration. Keen to know what others favourites are? Also feeling a bit lost in general on fashion after two dc back to back, my wardrobe was basically maternity jeans and baggy t shirts for about two years. Blush so I feel a bit out of touch on trends. Also feel a bit old for certain items of clothing, I’m 30 but feel very self conscious about that for some ridiculous reason.

I’m 31 & I have two young DC (3.5yrs & 8 months) so I recently got out of maternity clothes too! I used to live in leggings and baggy tops. I started following a stylist (Styled by Susie) & had a style analysis to hone in on the best colours for my skin tone & cuts for my shape (I’m an Autumn hourglass). Now I’ve grown in confidence, I feel confident picking clothes for myself so I don’t follow SBS much now. I love the 90s trend. I pretty much live in mum jeans, dungarees & high waisted trousers or pretty midi dresses nipped in at the waist with a leather belt. I’d recommend SBS as a starting point for someone who needs some direction.

I’m mid 40s, so a lot older, but favourite shops are:

&OtherStories - knitwear, t-shirts
Cos - trousers
Whistles - jeans, t-shirts
Topshop - skirts, dresses, t-shirts
Warehouse (sadly no more) - dresses, knitwear

I also buy odd things in Zara, Arket, and H&M, and am a recent convert to Levi’s 501 jeans. I like ASOS for lots of brands under “one roof”, free delivery and returns (I have the premier delivery so it comes next day).

I’m 5ft 6, size 10, if that helps.

Oh I forgot to add - my favourite shop is Lucy & Yak. I’ve got 3 pairs of high waisted trousers from there & two dungarees (for now...). I also love the thin knits from Only. I buy the occasional bits from Hush/Mint Velvet but it can get a bit too expensive

I think my favourite at the moment is Wolf & Badger. It’s the only place I see things I get excited about and really want. It’s expensive though.

I have a lot of staples from Mint Velvet and Hush.

Oh and I have a bit of a Brand Alley habit because I’m a sucker for a bargain.
