Can anyone tell where her dress is from? Not sure how to get a picture of it but she’s on right now.

That’s the best I could do. She actually looks a lot better than in my pictures

She’s a newsreader not a fashion model Wink

True but the dress looked really nice and wearable, some sort of silky fabric and the sleeve and neck details were also interesting.

@Wired4sound she's actually a very well respected journalist.

She doesn't just read the bloody news

How on earth did Google find that so quickly though? It was top of my search for 'red pattern pussy bow dress' 😲

How did you people know so fast? I’m very impressed. That’s the one!!!
Thank you very much. The other colours are nice too especially the navy one.

HennyPenny4 😂

For the purpose of this thread and topic, it doesn’t matter what she is or isn’t, it’s about the dress. The colour, fabric and shape of the dress did suit her very well.
I mean, one could ask why am I even thinking about what Sophie Raworth was wearing considering what she was saying at the time. If I noticed something nice Angela Merkel was wearing, I’d want to know where it was from just in case it might suit me, it comes in my size or is within my budget and I could wear something similar because I liked it.. Real women are more of a realistic inspiration that models and it is easier to observe details on TV as opposed to a photograph or face to face encounter where you get distracted by engaging with the person.

She wears some great dresses. Not sure why people think that distracts from her work.

I don’t think anyone is saying that but I was pre-emptying a potential supposition just to be safe.

I am loving the news at ten for her dresses. She looks amazing. I was coveting that one too.

Just followed the link to the dress. The other colours are gorgeous too. I would wear the navy. Not sure I could carry off the tangerine.

Cefinn was created by Samantha Cameron, wife of the erstwhile PM, who I imagine is well versed in the ancient art of clocking the outfits while watching the news. Some people have the knack, some don't Wink

They use a lot of polyester as all items are supposed to be easy to wash. Haven’t looked for a while but certainly all items used to be machine washable.

Fridaysgirl that was my reaction too. I thought it might have been silk or some sort of satin (don’t know if satin had polyester in it). A lot of fabrics are like this nowadays.
I suppose it might make them less likely to crease as well.

My idea if a good dress includes non-iron and pockets.
