Help me find some colourful clothes?

I love clothes from Muji and Kin by John Lewis, also keen on Cos. Sort of Scandi /Japanese.

Everything I have is currently navy, black, cream or grey, and I really want to inject some colour. Those ranges don't do so well with colours, Kin seems to do odd pastels and Muji muddy brown as alternatives.

Where can I get similar style clothing in other colours ?

Maybe jazz it up with colourful tights, T-shirt’s and scarves?

Have you looked at Seasalt? I really like their clothes.

Monochrome and/ or neutral does look class though.

Tonbero I sort of like Seasalt but everything is patterned, and I don't do patterns. Maybe that's part of the problem.

Some kids scandi brands do adult stuff, depends on if it's to your taste, but look at Duns Sweden, Moromini, Raspberry Republic, Maxomorra. It is a lot of bright prints though, so may not be for you Smile

Possibly kemitelford.com ? How do u feel about pattern?
The prints are often African but the shapes ( oversized dresses/ a line skirts etc) are a similar aesthetic to brands you like

Seasalt does some really nice plain jersey tops. Two for £40 I think. Really soft cotton.

Try Papu and Gudrun Sjödén. I've had some lovely bright colours from Cos!

Uniqlo is what you need, at least for knitwear.

Plenty of colour in COS at the moment. Black, grey etc. is their main thing especially in winter, but I've just been on the website and there's lots of red, green, turquoise etc. You can filter by colour.

How about OSKA? They do that kind of silhouette and a mix of neutrals and brighter colours.

Great tip to revisit Cos, definitely some colour there now.
And thank you fedup2017 for the Kemi Telford heads up, I think I just got over my fear of patterns!!!!!

Flame colours look fantastic with both mud colours and stone colours, so don't write off your current wardrobe.

Colour is overrated. I like the sound of your current style and palette. Classic pieces make up my wardrobe, its like a large (I keep narrowing it down only to buy more) capsule collection which can be put together in loads of different ways.

I'm not sure if this helps?
Mistral have some bight block colour knitwear in at the moment and I have noticed a few things are kind of (lose) Japanese inspired?
They do brightly coloured woolen tights too that may help you in your quest for bright clothing?
Hope this helps Grin
