Best high street moisturiser recommendation?

Hi all
I’m turning 40 and trying to improve my skincare routine. So far I am cleansing with micellar water, using a vitamin C serum and using a cheap Nivea moisturiser. I’d like to replace the moisturiser with one containing SPF and ideally made to reduce fine lines. Does anyone have a recommendation? Budget is Superdrug/ Boots not high end! So maybe up to £10 ish?

I'm 60 and have very smooth skin with few wrinkles. I have never used anything to wash my face, besides a hot face cloth at night, followed by a good slather of Nivea . I've never been tempted to spend a fortune on products which promise miracles. A few of my friends have fallen for the expensive promises, and they look old and haggard now, lol.

This one. Ingredients are great, high spf and UV protection. Hyaluronic acid to make your skin glow!

Nivea Soft. Often comes top in product tests against the expensive stuff.

You are better off using a separate spf. The amount in a moisturiser isn't sufficient.
I use nivea q10 and love it, with separate spf

Simple do one with SPF. I got it quite cheaply from Boots I think. Gone up slightly I think I paid £2.99!

You need a separate spf really.

In terms of reducing fine lines, everything I've read states you should be letting serums and actives do the work (like your vitamin c) and moisturiser is just the final step for exactly that... moisture. The amount of active ingredients required to have any effect are unlikely to be high enough in a moisturiser. Therefore you should just find one that suits you like the Nivea one and stick with that.

In terms if a decent spf I like biore watery essence. I also like the la Roche possay (sp??) One but it's quite pricey.

I’ve read that it doesn’t really matter to much about moisturiser, as it’s just used to lock your serums and actives in. I use the cerave moisturiser and it’s great, think it was £13.

Nivea Q10. I buy it when it’s half price in the supermarket, at around £5.50. I adore the smell. Which Body Shop moisturiser are pp referring to? I used to love their Pomegranate range, but they’ve discontinued it.

I love Superdrug vitamin e range- cheap as chips and doesn’t break me out like most face creams.
