Can you help me style this dress for a wedding?

I’m going to a wedding on Friday and want to look fabulous (I have another thread running about falling for my best friend and I’m going to the wedding with him Blush)

I’ve ordered this dress - this colour of green is one I feel really confident in, and I like the kind of understated style. I’m blonde and fair and mid height.

I’m not sure what shoes to put with it and whether to wear a fitted blazer with it? I have fitted blazers in white, cream, sage green and black. Don’t think black would work at all.

Also colour of shoes/accessories?

It’s a bit of a summery dress I know and now I’m almost regretting the choice as I’m not sure I can pull it off for a February wedding!

HELP

Can you help me style this dress for a wedding?

That's lovely, what about white or silver? I think they'd go best with that colour Smile

Have you recently bought it? ASOS have a ‘complete the look’ bit under their items which recommends what to style it with. Maybe have a look at what they’ve put with it there?

I think a blazer and heels would look lovely! You have the right idea on colour combinations but I would avoid the white blazer. Would pink or blush be a colour you like or look good in as well? This could be complementary with the dress too.

Well it IS a summer dress! It's very pretty as such, and it would look odd under a blazer. I know you don't have time probably but i'd be looking for something more seasonal.

Fx for you and your bf!

You could wear a short faux fur jacket over it. Will winter it up a bit.

Fake fur little jacket in a sandy colourwould look great and even tan suede little booties

Id go for rose gold jewelley and a blush pink blazer. Clutch bag also maybe a sparkly or beaded one.

Agree, if you can find a sandy faux fur jacket that would be perfect. Blush pink bag would be fab, and I would go for shoes in the same or similar colour as the jacket.

Yes, rose gold jewellery would suit so well.

I think a cream/ecru fitted blazer but it will have to be fitted and not too long.

I think I may have your other thread book marked Wink
I agree re the faux fur, it's too summery for a blazer. A cropped Navy faux fur would work too. With navy or neutral boots or shoes.
You might be able to pick up a really cheap jacket this time of year, have a look at new look. They do some great faux furs under £30. I have one in bottle green. (Would also work)

I think a little navy faux fur jacket would look great. Definitely not a blazer- too summery.

The faux fur looks like the job! I love the dress, I think with that jacket it will be very Spring wedding appropriate .

Also following your other thread and have my fingers crossed for you. Good luck.

It's such a pretty colour. Agree that a little sandy coloured fur or blush pink would be lovely. Not navy!

I would opt for a cropped jacket, blazers just don’t look great at weddings. And some very understaded court shoes. Pair with delicate but interesting accessories.

I like this and think it would go well with the dress.

Maybe this if you want something over your shoulders. I love the idea of a faux fur bolero/jacket though.

And I disagree with a PP, don't wear understated shoes! Wear sexy and sophisticated killer heels!
