Anything you have found a waste of money and wish you didn’t purchase, I’ll start Kevin A contour pallet! Looks grey on my face

So many! Chanel bronzer, Redken shampoo and conditioner, CT powder - lip liner and concealer, Rodial cream (can't remeber which but it was ££). I am an advertisers dream!

Probably loads more but it makes me feel a bit ill thinking about all the wasted money!

smashbox matt liquid lip colour range "always on".

drying, cracked texture even on my good condition lips and completely cake like. feathered a lot too. bought 2 in the sale but all the same, still over £10 per tube with the offer.

The ordinary, I was delighted by the packaging and price, but none of it made a discernible difference.

This absolute waste of £30
www.guerlain.com/uk/en-uk/p/kisskiss-liquid-liquid-lipstick-P042947.html

Utterly shit. I bought it for a wedding and thankfully tried it the day before as it didn’t matter how I applied it it just smudged all over the place. I looked like a toddler that had got at my mums makeup.

I bought Bare Minerals foundation - your skin only better or some such tagline. Well my skin on the day of my DM's funeral perhaps - ashen, chalky, deathly. I can never understand how people rave about something and then I try it and it is awful. What kind of colouring do these people have? And what kind of skin? Mine looks like dry paper with this on (and the Armani one).

Green People Daily Aloe Shampoo. Supposedly gentle but it's like washing your hair in Swarfega. Awful stuff. I feel I should use it up so it's not a waste of money but you need so little each time the tube will outlive me! Fucker.

£300 worth of makeup I bought in a panic before an interview as a nanny with a really high profile family. I never wear makeup. I didn't get the job and it's been left to rot in a box quietly since. £300!!!

AND (getting into my stride now)...

Keihl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser. It somehow managed to sit greasily on my skin without soaking in, but didn't seem to moisturise either.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. Greasy load of shite.

I was inspired by the threads here about using up old products, and currently have the face and hair of a swamp beast while I work my way through all my unsuitable purchases. Grr.

An Aveda shampoo that is meant to be good for problem scalps. Somehow managed to make my hair feel like really greasy straw. Cost £20, used about twice. DH bought it for me for my birthday, and was not impressed.

Also, just about every beauty box I've ever bought. They feel like such a great, bargainous idea, but in reality there is practically nothing I actually use, so just a monumental waste.
