Eye lift cream

My eyes are looking increasingly hooded and tired. When I try to take a picture they are hardly open. Is there any cream/gel that would tighten the upper lids/under brow area? I’ve tried the Avon one before www.avon.uk.com/product/5421/anew-clinical-lift-firm-eye-cream?cb=829258556 and think I was quite pleased with the upper eye gel but not bothered about the under eye cream and don’t want to buy it just to throw most of the contents away! Can anyone recommend an alternative? Thanks 😊

I use BodyShop vitamin e eye cream and then a layer of Vaseline over my face at night. Works wonders

I just pat the Vaseline over my upper and lower eye lid making sure not to get too close to the eye x

@ Worried2020 does it tighten the skin at all?

It plumps the skin and lessons the look of fine lines. Have you tried facial exercises? X

No, but not sure what it would do to the under brow area. It’s not lined just saggy but I don’t think there’s any muscles there! 😂 Just loose skin

Go on You Tube and search Danielle Collins face yoga. I've been doing her eye exercises and have noticed a small difference. It's about exercising the face muscles so they are more toned! Just as our bodies can be toned with exercise, so can our faces. Smile

I had this problem. AHA cream tightens skin as it renews the skin & produces more collagen which has a tightening effect. I've been using it for 5 years & it's like I've had a mini face lift. It isn't a quick fix though. It needs to be used regularly & results appear over time. I guess I saw noticable effects after approx 18 months. It's a strong cream, can't be bought in General stores like Boots/Superdrug, if you are interested OP please let me know & I will post link of where to buy.

P.S I use it all over the face & in summer avoid the sun if possible & use high SPF - as AHAs make skin more prone to sun damage.

This the one OP. Use it at night time, I put on bare face after shower. You may get some irritation at first ( dry flaky skin ) but the more you use it the better tolerance you build. I would say start off 2/3 nights a week working up to using it daily. You may be super tolerant to it at first who knows but several friends whom I've recommended it to had to build up to using it daily as it causes dryness & a little flaking at first. Amazon etc sell it too .... I wouldn't recommend using it as a day cream as it leaves a slight film on skin.

Research glycolic acid on google! It's fab ! I used to have Botox years ago & now I don't need it as this is fab & has tightened my whole face as it makes skin build more collagen = tightening effect

Like I said it's not a quick fix but it's transformed my skin over the years x

Great, thanks for that. I do have some glycolic avid but hadn’t been using it on the below brows area. I might give that a go

Watching. I have been trying to put Retin-A round my eyes as it’s so effective tightening and reducing wrinkles elsewhere but it migrates in to my eyes over night and stings.

This area is so hard to treat!

@Delatron I've not really put it close to my eyes. I do put it under my eyes but not really close. I certainly haven't put it on my eyelids. I have however found that the tightening of forehead has lifted my eyelids in the process.... strange one!

@glasgowhogmanay the glycolic I posted link for is 15% so that's quite a high strength one. Glycolic does come in other lotions but you will find the percentage/ strength is much much weaker. This one is a strong one !

@starbuckssuzie ah ok, no idea it came in different strengths. But that makes lots of sense. Thanks.

OP, sorry but can't seem to attach link! But then I am a massive technophobe!! If you search Danielle Collins on You Tube, you can find her there. The exercises are effective if you do them regularly, give it a go! Smile
