I hope so. I'm late 40s and have noticed this over the past year or two.

I think it's the way I lie in bed, sort of on my side so my boobs 'fall together' causing lines. I can't sleep on my back so I now try flat on my front

Also, I'm a little overweight. Do slim women get this too?

I slim, middle of healthy bmi.
I have seen plenty of crinkle in skinny women.

Is it sun damage?
Are you moisturising at least once daily?
Palmer's Cocoa Butter is good.

sun damage - possibly a little. though I always cover my chest as the skin there is so sensitive.
I moisturise regularly.

You could try using a product that's specifically targets that area, eg Liz Earle Bust and Neck Serum.

Tretinoin and niacinamide at night, timeless vitamin c e ferulic serum every morning, hyaluronic acid serum, eucerin urea repair moisturiser and a high factor sunscreen every day has really improved my decolletage. I was looking a bit crinkly and the skin was slightly darker than the rest ofvery pale me. Takes a bit of time though. I'm 43, and always put it down to big boobs but I think it's probably more that I sleep on my side, and not enough sunscreen when I was younger.

I read that some neck/chest crinkle can be caused by perfumes being sprayed in that area and perfumed body lotions. Very drying.

I don't use perfum.

I have an ordinary retinoid. can I use that? f I use harsh stuff it feels like sunburn

How much are you prepared to spend? Non surgical CO2 lasers are amazing and have superb results but cost 2k per session. One session is generally enough though. Takes away sun damage and fine lines and promotes collagen production so skin elasticity is improved.

I sleep on my front and for me it’s to do with that. It’s creased and needs a good iron!!!
I can’t afford £2000.

Crowleys is spot on there. I'd add some kind of hydrating toner - pat it on rather than swiping with cotton wool. I got mine in Aldi - it's rosewater, glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Cover up or use at least SPF 30 summer and winter. You could try CeraVe moisturiser the one without the SPF because it's got niacinamide in it, rather than a separate niacinamide. But lashing on the big bottle of moisturising lotion and using a niacinamide serum might work out cheaper. I might add an oil too rosehip, squalane, jojoba and marula are all contenders.

Moisturise, hydrate, and repair with retinol and vitamin c. You could add an exfoliating acid when you're on top of the moisture and have seen an improvement.

Keep away from hot water, soap, shower gel. What do you mean by 'harsh stuff'?

Keep away from anything with essential oils forthe moment but especially tea tree, rosemary, lemon. Rose lavender geranium are more gentle. But I'd avoid those too while you're sensitive, and retinol will make you more sensitive. I'd start with the moisturising, hydrating and SPF and when you're happy you've got that down try the retinol.

Only use a gentle cleanser on your neck. No washes or soaps. Avoid anything with SLS in it for the shower.

Gentle acid peels helped massively for me. Mine was definitely sun damage. I use factor 50 there now. I’m wiry - don’t think I’d relate to weight, although I guess if boobs are big they may add to the creases.

I have the ordinary aha peel. but don't dare to use it there (yet).
or should I start with a few minutes and work my way up.

I wouldn't go near the peel till you've sorted out a routine of hydrating and moisturizing.

www.antiwrinklebra.org/about/

It's mostly the way your boobs 'fall' to one side while you sleep - causing the skin to settle into creases over night.

I've got one of these night bras , it makes such a difference. I'm 50 and confident to show decolletage when I've been using this. It looks bizarre but dh isused to it now!
I use creams etc as well.

The Prai neck and decolletage cream at M&S is fabulous.

I second @skippy67 recommendation for Prai Neck & Decolletage cream, it was the main gift in the M&S advent calendar this year. It's really good. My chest is ok but I have noticed my neck quite 'crepey' and since using this nightly it's really made a difference. Prior to that I would have always brought my nightcream down my neck and onto my upper chest but this had made much more of a difference.
