Alternative to Trinny BFF

I love Trinny BFF - like that its gives that glowy no make up look - but I go through it super quickly and it's expensive.

Anyone found a good alternative. Basically a glowy tinted moisturiser with low coverage (almost entirely moisturiser)

Thanks

I haven't used this range but I swear my friend had some trinny eye shadow from poundworld. Does that sound right?

Do you not find the Trinny BFF makes you too shiny and sticky? I’m looking for an alternative too, I like the fact it is SPF 30.

Me too! Looking for an alternative that is cheaper but also available in Australia.

Not really @Londonborncatty. Maybe shiny in glowy way but I kind of like that.

Clinique have just launched something, not sure of the name (it's in a camouflage packaging so should be easy to find on the website)
My understanding of it is.......
You can wear it on its own own you can do a custom blend (the size of a bottle of their DDML) with moisturiser for your skin type.
I got a sample it's a really weird purply grey, looks revolting ( I guess like the granules in BFF) but then adapts to your tone.
Samples are generous and they'll give you a variety. I got fatigue and something else, sorry I can't remember Smile
So you get more for your money than BFF

This is really lovely, I mix a bit of moisturizer with it. Not much coverage, but it does have a lovely tint/glow to it.

Nars Tinted Moisturizer is very good

Thanks for the suggestion. Tbh @LightOfAThousandStars I find the nars tinted moisturiser really thick and not luminous at all! It's more akin to foundation for me. Think I'm quite alone in this though Grin

Mac Face and Body? Thin, runny texture but sets nicely. Light coverage and looks super glowy.

The Glossier skin tint is supposed to be similar (albeit with fewer fancy ingredients and no SPF) but I've not tried it.

I’m in Australia, I use L’Oreal Glow Cherie, it’s kind of a highlighter, I mix it with my moisturiser. Very light effect, not coverage as such but a definite glow. I also have a Maybelline one which is very similar.

@kmini oh sorry it doesn't work for you, maybe a bb or cc cream may be better?

This is what I bought when my BFF ran out tropicskincare.com/products/beauty-booster-sheer-foundation It's not cheap either, but so far it's been a good alternative, gives a glow, very sheer and a boost of colour, also has SPF 30

SPF 35 even, sorry.

The spf in skincare and make up is not effective protection as you don't use enough of the products to get the sun protection. Please use a separate spf cream to make sure you get the right protection.

Hi I use a combination of products Mixed together which create a large volume with low cost. I use The Ordinary’s hyaluronic acid Direct on the face first. I then have a combination in one of The small pots That has a big dollop of Andalu perfecting cream with peptides- quite cheap-, a quarter dollop of my L’Oreal day cream which I always get cheap at around $16 to $20, A squirt of La Roche Posay AntheLios 50+ Liquid for sunscreen (expensive but lasts) And finally two squirts of my Revlon colour stay which is the perfect match for my skin. Again I buy on sale. The trick is not to put too much Revlon in but enough to give light coverage. Mix together they combine all the elements that are good for the skin and give a glowing coverage. Sounds like a lot but the products add up to a lot of volume and last a very long time so cheaper overall. Hope this helps

Another vote for mixing your own. I've just started adding a drop of moisturiser to my foundation and mixing it on the back of my hand. Perfect colour and a much lighter look for every day. Wish I'd thought if it sooner.

I always see this repeated on my but not sure it makes sense to me.... What if I'm using as much of my software tinted cream as I would of sun block? No reason for that not to work, right?
