Skin protection recommendations

Hi,
I work outdoors and though I’m happy to slap on suntan lotion in summer I feel it’s a little full on for this time of year. I do feel I need something extra though. Yesterday I felt quite weathered after work. (Tight skin, slightly flushed)
Anyone got any recommendations for something easy to use? I have naturally dry skin and I’m nearly 40 if that’s relevant.
