Best Dry Shampoo??

Okay I am actively trying not to wash my hair so much (post-partum hair loss!), therefore what is the best dry shampoo?

I need something to sort this grease out without leaving the horrible residue some of them have.

Alterna - invisible, does not leave residue at all.

Batiste. Tried loads of others and always go back to it.

I find colab really weird. It doesn’t clean my hair at all - nor give it body!?

My vote is for Klorane. More expensive- way better in my experience!

*but way better. I should have said.

Batiste every time (the tropical one)

Batiste. I've tried others but they just aren't as good.

Batiste, but spray it on before bed and it works much better

Batiste works but it stinks, I hate the fragrance. The Lush one works pretty well for me. My hairdresser told me you should only use it occasionally though as it's not good for your scalp.

Wilko did the best dry shampoo and was super cheap but sadly discontinued Angry

@duvetaddict - do you leave it in overnight and then brush it out in the morning? Furterer is supposed to be good but more expensive.

I used to wash my hair every day but now I pop some dry shampoo on after Ive dried it and it lasts an extra day! Buzzing.

I've tried using Lidls own brand, a boots own brand and other cheepy ones, they're crap. Might as well use talc. The bastiste one is the best imo

Postpartum hair loss is completely normal and it's only the hair you would naturally have lost during the pregnancy, so whilst it's alarming to see it all coming out, I wouldn't be worrying about it. I've never had good experiences with dry shampoo, it makes my scalp really itch. I supper with alopecia areata so I can understand the alarm at seeing hair falling out. But unless you have bald patches or significant thinning then it's all completely normal and will even itself out in a few months time.

I second Klorane. Not cheap but you don’t need loads and it is very , very effective.

@ComeBackPeterComeBackPaul I leave it in overnight and it all rubs in, then I brush it like normal in the morning. Sometimes add a bit more in the morning. I used to wash daily and now go up to 3 days.

Klorane. I've tried numerous other brands and now will only use this.

Batiste stinks and made my scalp itchy.

I've tried lots of different ones and by far my favourite is the batiste ones. I try different fragrances each time, love them all but possibly my favourite one is the cherry. I'm definitely going to try using it at night though as above.

I've tried lots and always gone back to Batiste until recently. Tesco have started selling a Schwarzkopf got2be one and it's brilliant. Smells fresh and does the job for longer than Batiste. It's the one in a lime green can.

Klorane, my hair actually looks fresh and soft.

I used to love Batiste til I tried a Klorane sample, couldn't believe how much better it was!
