That’s it really, I’m eleven weeks. Too chubby/bloated to wear my usual clothes, but far too small for anything maternity
HELP!

My most stretchy/oversized own clothes. I wore my own clothes until 20 weeks because I didn't want anyone to know. Maybe buy some stretchy jeans and a couple of loose tops if you don't have anything?

Elasticated waists and loose tops. High waisted dresses.

Wider leggings with loose tunics.

If you usually wear tight clothes, prepare for your size to be a bit bigger post pregnancy anyway. And with all the new bumps a more comfortable fit might be better anyway.

I would imagine leggings will be a good option?!

I bought trousers (not maternity) in the next size up and chose trousers with a stretch. The will be useful after you have the baby too. New look had jeans when I had mine with an elastic waistband but not proper maternity.

I bought two pairs of comfy maternity leggings and just wore stretchy tops/dresses, daughter is 9 months old and I still wear the majority of it now

Your regular jeans with a hair elastic through the buttonhole (just make sure your top is long enough to cover the gap!)
Leggings, elasticated waist or loose fitting tops, dresses with tights a size up. Also if you’re trying to disguise a bump, unbuttoned blazers and jackets, and scarves work well.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Leggings, jeggings, asymmetric or loose tops with a blazer over them. I wore maternity leggings from 9 weeks (I was already showing and had huge babies) and found new look really good. They were not obvious maternity and I got lots of wear out of them post baby.

The first time I wasnt very big then but my normal jeans just weren't comfy. I got super high waisted soft jeans from primark a few sizes too big and they did me for ages, well past 20 weeks.

Jersey dresses? Most of my clothes would fit up to around 6 months, I like floaty!

I actually wore maternity trousers for work at 8 weeks I was so bloated nothing else fitted right

Leggings and dungaree dresses or stretchy jersey dresses worked well for me.

For the sake of comfort, it might be worth investing in some maternity leggings and jeans. I had some great seraphane under bump jeans (from eBay) for the early months but quickly moved onto over bump at about 5 months.

I also bought some cheap lightweight stretchy jogger type patterned trousers from Primark to wear around the house after work etc - I wore them right up to the end, they’re so comfy, I still wear them now.

Hush also do some nice ones which are probably better for wearing out and about. But are obviously more expensive but I’d prob go with something like that if I was going to wear them out.

Maternity jeans and leggings just have high stretchy waistbands, you can absolutely wear them now without anybody knowing. Don't be uncomfortable because you feel silly (I say that because I did) wearing maternity so early. You actually want to get as much wear possible out of your maternity clothes to bring down the cost per wear.

I "expanded" my usual skirts and trousers my looping and elastic band through the button hole, then wearing tops un-tucked to get me through the first few months and avoid having to buy much for work

I bought the next size up in trousers, they weren't great as too baggy on my bum. Also wore looser tops and baggy cardis. I'd been trying for a while so had introduced the tops into my work wardrobe before getting pregnant. The loose tops were fab for breastfeeding and post baby when I felt too flabby for anything snug.

Thanks everyone. I will give all of this a go. I have a pair of maternity jeans that sort of fit so I think I will try them again next week. Thansk

With a bump band from Jojo (expands your trousers with a wide soft cotton band you can eventually put over your bump) I was able to wear my normal jeans up to about 30 weeks. It was the best maternity thing I bought!

I got a few bits one size up. They were useful as I deflated post partum too - bear in mind most women are not back in their pre-pregnancy jeans the day after delivery.
