What high street foundations do you recommend?

I’ve ran out of foundation ( no7) and would like to try a new brand. I like full coverage, have combination skin but nothing too drying. What does anyone recommend? Not wanting to spend too much, as in nothing over £20. Just something I could pick up in boots/Superdrug. So yeah what’s a good foundation ?

I'm no help as I'm super happy with no7! Used to use benefit but was too dry for me.

Have you tried revlon colour stay? I use it for everyday and double wear if going out. Has decent staying power and build able coverage so ideal for work. It's around £12 but always on offer in boots or Superdrug.

I really like Milani conceal + perfect. It’s around £14.
It has replaced ELDW, which I have bought again and again.

Revlon colourstay (for combi/oily skin) is nice too, but I don’t like it as much as the one from Milani. The one for normal skin doesn’t work for me.

Not literally drugstore but Missha's bb cream can be bought on Amazon for c.£10 and is amazing! Very hydrating and stays on all day!

I quite like L'Oreal Truematch. It's quite thin but easily buildable. I bought it when I ran out of MAC (and it was out of stock everywhere) but I use the L'Oreal one more now anyway. I think it also has something in it that is meant to improve the look and feel of your skin, I don't know what it is though. It's about £11/12 and loads of shades to choose from.

I've been using Revolution Matte Base Pore Blurring Full coverage Foundation from Superdrug. I bought it when I had forgotten to take my usual Benefit foundation on a weekend away. I have just bought a second tube as I much prefer it to the Benefit one! It's really cheap too. Under £10.

NYX Born to glow
The ordinary Coverage

Im a recent convert to Primark make up. Was sceptical but bought Perfect Finish foundation in tube in colour beige and its a perfect colour match, nice texture and medium coverage and only £2.50 😮 can also recommend their lipgloss and lustre lipstick and gel nail varnish is excellent

Another vote for Revlon colour stay. I use this daily, full coverage, lasts all day and available in Boots and Superdrug.

I came on to say L'Oréal true match too. I ran out the other day and had to use my No7 and couldn't believe how cakey it was.

No 7 Hydraluminous.

I'm not sure of the exact price (I bought mine a few months ago) but I also have Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and Hydraluminous is an exact dupe of it. You cannot tell the difference in the texture, quality, smell, application or finish. It's honestly one of the best high street foundations out there.

Another fan of Revlon Colourstay here! Think it's about £12 a bottle but often get 3 for 2.

Great coverage and it comes in two styles to suit dry or normal/combination skin. Think one is matte and the other more dewy. I much prefer the matte one.

Shades are good, the paler ones aren't orangey like some can be and not chalky.

I bought it to wear to work and keep my double wear for weekends. Now I haven't bought double wear for years because I prefer the Revlon one.

Rimmel 25hr foundation has good coverage and is non drying. Gives a lovely finish

I also use the No7 Hydroluminous one. I don’t really like the others they do - I find them quite drying but this is brilliant. I used to use the Instant Radiance before they replaced it with this and it’s better.

A friend was a staunch ELDW user but was recently converted to the Maybelline one with the white top - it does look loads better on her too.

I like L'Oréal True Match but I think the longer lasting one (red lid) is even better.
About £10.99 I think but always on 3 for 2 and occasionally buy 2 products for £14 😬

Over the years l’ve tried hundreds, all prices. Then I found Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. It was great till they discontinued it. But the replacement lasting Radience is just as good and so cheap.

My skin is on the dry side, so may not be so good for oily skins.

Another No 7 Hydroluminous fan here. I think it's £15 but I wait until they do their £3 off makeup vouchers.

Loreal true match. I try others sometimes but always go back to this.

Those who wear the no7 hydraluminous, how much coverage does it provide?

Does the Primark one last all day?

Yes, it's great. I have no problems with it at work.
