Warm boots - either Ugg-style but cheaper, or something else?
(13 Posts)My feet are cold on the school run/popping out and about/driving to work (I have a uniform at work so not for that). Used to have some Ugg-style boots from Just Sheepskin which did the job brilliantly but were kind of ugly but dead easy to slip on and off.
So, do I buy another similar pair (and where from?), or get some kind of fur lined something else (maybe Timberland type ones - this sort of thing but I don't want to spend that much? - www.timberland.co.uk/shop/en/tbl-uk/6-inch-shearling-boot-for-women-in-yellow-a21v7231 )
Thanks!
Also to add I have pretty wide feet...
Doc Martens have a shearling boot, I don't know how they fit width wise though.
Try Sorel. Amazon sometimes have great deals, depending on your shoe size.
I like my Skechers. For wider fit look for "relaxed"
I have both these Tamaris boots. They are sheepskin lined and so cosy and comfy.
For the last few years I have bought Ella boots from Amazon. Very similar in styling to Uggs but a whole lot cheaper. Keep my feet warm and toasty and because they are so reasonable I don't worry about buying a couple of pairs. Here are some styles

I’m currently wearing these www.eccoshoesuk.com/ecco-soft-7-tred-w/p7897# and they keep my feet toasty.
Primark do nice ugg style boots for £6!!
Also Tesco have lots of decent boots for under £35...
I bought some Sorel boots, waterproof with a suedy texture and fur lined --OH calls them my granny boots
Think I paid around £70
I bought Timberlands and my feet are warm and dry
The only thing worse than Ugg boots are fake Ugg boots...........
Dr Martens fur lined boots are fab....... I've got Rosa boots and am just contemplating Leonore ones.
Thank all. I ordered a Sorel pair from Amazon but they're too small so trying to go up two sizes and see if that works (they're lovely though!) They're quite a bit more than I wanted to spend so will need to be comfortable but looked great
