<wanders off, whistling>

Meeely2 Thu 16-Aug-07 19:58:24

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:00:36

I remember Rhubarb's mum. Can't we get one for her too?

aloha Thu 16-Aug-07 20:00:39

I would look GORGEOUS on little Morticia, I think.

kitsandbits Thu 16-Aug-07 20:01:45

Who remembers my mum? Who has met my mum????? No-one but Custy has met her and no-one will ever meet her! Don't make me paranoid!
<looks round nervously>

I reckon Cod would like one of these too.

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:03:03

"pink cat ears" psml!

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:13:14

Custy has one of these in her wardrobe too.

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:14:32

I remember your mum.

She was responsible for me nearly becoming a catholic for all of about half an hour.

kitsandbits Thu 16-Aug-07 20:14:38

my ones adorable, its got pink cat prints on the plams, ive had it about 6 years its dead snuggly - wear it as pgs now but loved it when i was ickler!

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:16:53

Phew! I remember now, you met her "virtually" - don't do that to me! I nearly wet meself!

kitsandbits - you need help.

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:17:35

Oh glory Rhubarb, sorry. You're following me and everything while I'm flirting with Aitch in a newsagents.

NO, I have NEVER met your mother. I will NEVER meet your mother.

I have a terribly good memory, for which I apologise, profusely, and it always gets me into trouble. In fact men think I fancy them if I let on how much I remember.

No. We did a religion thing, and you said your mum was an old school catholic, and I nearly converted just thinking about the black and the incense and all that.

Is that okay now?

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:25:09

Nae bother. My mother usually puts people off religion tbh, with her "oh woe is me" look and endless talk of God dictating lives.

Catholics can be sexy though, what with their exorcisms, incense, young priests in black (phwoar!), rituals, secrets etc. It's quite a turn on I can tell you!

My mother would be mortified by this!

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:36:09

Now Rhubarb, are you stalking me because of your mother?

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:36:31

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:38:28

Do we need to work this one through a little more?

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:39:29

I'll leave you alone now!
Did you go to a Manchester meet-up once though?

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:40:27

Oh no, never been to a meet-up. Why, was your mother there?

I'd have remembered her you know. I'd have remembered everything. Is a curse.

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:41:40

Ah, your name just seems more familiar. My memory is shite. People used to greet me in the street and have conversations without me knowing who the hell they were.

I also put my foot in it often by getting people mixed up.

Yours is a gift, not a curse!

ahundredtimes Thu 16-Aug-07 20:43:50

Oh no it's not, I promise.

I say 'What did you do in the end then, over that business with the neighbour and their incredibly tall trees?' (because I meet VERY interesting people, obviously) and they, well usually HE look me up and down, and frown and say,

'That was THREE years ago'.

I'm making polite conversation fgs.

Rhubarb Thu 16-Aug-07 20:46:40

Well I would be very impressed! I'm always impressed if people remember my name or anything about me as I just presume everyone is like me.

I remember this mum I'd only met once or twice coming up to me at a toddler group once, I'd not been for some weeks and she actually asked me where I'd been and said she'd missed me. I was dumbstruck! But after a while I always think that these people who remember so much about me must be pissed off that I never remember a thing about them.
