Hair product recommendations

My hair is in need of some TLC. It gets greasy quickly but is dry at the ends. It’s also frizzy however I dry it and dull and flat when I’ve styled it; it won’t hold curls/waves. I get it cut every 3 months or so.

I’ve tried a range of shampoos/conditioners from RedKen & Phillip Kingsley to Boots own brand. I don’t really use any products due to the greasy issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a miracle product please (I feel like I need it).

Tweak'd hair scrub is amazing. Can use it in place of shampoo.
It's very gentle, gives hair so much more volume & stops it being weighed down. Won't strip your hair & I always get an extra day or 2 out of my wash when I use it.

I'm about to try Oribe - very expensive but seems to be the holy grail of hair products.

I have similar hair to you; frizzy, dry at the ends and gets greasy quickly. My hairdresser recommended this:
www.kerastase.co.uk/ranges/specifique/bain-riche-dermo-calm-250ml
Reading the blurb it doesn't sound exactly like its my hair type but it does seem to be helping so I'll stick with it! Whilst its not a miracle cure its definitely helped; I've now also brought the hair mask and serum from the range. I've pretty much given up on regular conditioner and just use hair masks now as the ends of my hair are so dry.

I know it sounds counter intuitive but what's also helped with my frizzys is to co-wash (so skip the shampoo bit, and just apply conditioner). I can't give up my shampoo habit completely, but I now try and skip it every other wash. If you can find the time once a week to leave a hair mask on for a good few hours that will definitely help- I usually slather it on Saturday morning then leave it for a few hours under a shower cap wrapped in a hair towel. I also get through copious amounts of dry shampoo!!

Wildwood6 thank you! I’ll take a look at Keratase, that’s what seems to come up most when I google the problem.

I hadn’t thought of skipping shampoo sometimes, I try not to use conditioner too regularly but it doesn’t make any difference 🙄 so I’m willing to try anything. I’ll also give the hair masks a go. I think I’ve avoided them in the past assuming they would just make my hair greasier.

@barrelohflaughs yes I think you’re right, the hair conditioners and masks are so good now as long as you rinse them out properly and avoid putting them right in your hair roots they don’t seem to make your hair greasy. Also, if you’re letting your hair dry naturally try not to touch it too much, it just seems to make the frizzys frizzier and the grease greasier! I just put some leave in conditioner through the ends, some serum through the mid lengths and ends and then don’t touch it! I don’t even brush or comb it through- I do that before I wash it. Again, it seems counterintuitive but it does seem to help!
