Teeth whitening with invisalign treatment

I'm getting quotes for invisalign and they include teeth whitening. Are there downsides to getting this? I thought it made your teeth more sensitive?

I can see why I should do it, bit pointless paying £££ getting teeth straightened if they still look yellowish.
