Holland and Barrett Beauty Advent Calendar 2019

Mine has arrived! Not opening until December (obviously! Wink) but thought I’d get a thread started.

Details:
25 days, priced at £35. Listing states products worth £146 plus a chance to win a luxury spa break.
I used some of my H&B points towards this, and also went through Quidco. Shipping is free.
Link below, but to warn, the contents are listed on the sales page so you may want to be careful if you don’t want to know in advance.

Who else has one? Let’s use this thread to discuss the contents as we hit December. :)

So mine arrived pretty quickly after ordering. The carton it was shipped in was huge. The calendar itself looks really substantial, and it opens like a book. It’s tied together with ribbon. It really is a pretty big beast for £35. I think this is going to be one of my favourites this year because it is such a bargain. And I love a bit of natural beauty. Plus, I tend to lean towards more skincare than makeup, which this seems to cater for.

Is it December yet? Grin

I've ordered it (after seeing the other advent calendar thread) and am looking forward to it! Keeping it for December though.

Thanks for this thread - I've just ordered this too! I didn't want the M&S one again this year and have been trying out more natural ranges so this seems perfect.

Excited for Dec Grin

Has anyone opened theirs? It's not the most exciting start but love the little spiel on the door about it...a fantastic idea!! Can't believe how gorgeous the whole calendar smells.

I'm happy 😊 love this sort of thing ... are we allowed to say what it is ?

Yes! Say what it is. The threads are to discuss the items each day as we open them. Working on what happened with the threads last year, it’s fine to talk about the item on the day you open it (and beyond), but if you open any doors in advance of the right day then you can’t say what it is because that would spoil it for others. :)

So, I’m happy! I love lipbalm and this smells gorgeous. Mine is watermelon - did everyone get the same? I also loved the packaging, from the spiel on the door to the little groove to help you get the item out.

As an aside, the smell of this one really reminds me of the Flight of Passage ride at Walt Disney World. So double happy!

Well I have 4 calendars, this having worked out the cheapest and this is the product I actually need the most!

I have two big hols coming up in the next week/3months so got the calendars specifically for items to use for travel.

Off to somewhere cold next week so this is definitely coming with me!

Yes got watermelon. Put it in a few hours ago and it is still working to make my lips soft. It's lovely.

Very happy with this. I have a chronic condition which means I get lesions on my hands and arms. Just had a go and has made a difference, the smell is nice too.

Also pleased with this one! Ideal travel size and the money off voucher is a nice offer too.

Ah, found you! Loved the lip balm, found the cream a bit greasy. Micellar water looks nice and it will be useful to have a small bottle for travelling.
