Maternity trousers, under the bump and summery, for short people - do they exist?

The only place I can find them is Next and their stuff doesn't fit me at all. Blooming Marvellous short jeans are a perfect fit, but I need something slightly smarter for a weekend away. They only seem to do short jeans, not other trousers.

When not pg the only places I've found that do trousers that fit are M&S (but they don't do short maternity ones) and Fat Face (no maternity range).

Just to be extra awkward, I need to be able to buy them online - don't live near any sizeable shops.

Dorothy Perkins do different leg lengths in their maternity range and they sell online.

I love their mat stuff.

I got a good pair from Top Shop maternity last year - and I'm guessing that you're about the same shape as me, as the Blooming Marvellous short jeans were my lifesaver last year.

If that doesn't work, I also had a lovely linen skirt from BM last year - I know it's not a pair of trousers, but it was full le length (on me!) and v relaxed and comfortable.

Like you I'm petite and pg. I bought two pairs of next trousers/ jeans from before but to be honest, the jeans make my bum look big and I have to pull them up at times. I've been wearing the next size up in the early months. I've got a pair of topshop drawstring trousers from many moons ago (size 6!) which works very well as maternity summer trousers. Otherwise we're very limited in what we can wear! Try long elasticated skirts instead. You could also try some charity shops, it's only for a few months and you don't want to spend a fortune either!

Good luck!

Next used to do two lengths in their maternity range.
