Wonderful, lovely people of style and beauty can you please help me in my search for a work backpack that can take a smallish laptop and someA4 books. Trying to find a comfy, well made one for less than £100. Any recommendations would be very gratefully received Smile

I got 'Estarer Woman Black Laptop Backpack' off Amazon. Its really good quality and have used it for 3 years for Uni..fits my chromebook and A4 pads and books. It has quite a few inside pockets and have had loads of compliments. £32.99 reduced from about £75..just checked and its still available. Sorry i cant attach link..dont know how x

I’ve had one of these for years- great laptop space, lots of pockets and very comfy and sturdy. I actually have a floral one which I love but there are also lots of plain colours. The only slightly less mature aspect is the name “hot Style” :o but you could pick the label off. here

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, direct from Samsonite - I got it in the sale so it was about £85 I think, but it appears to be £109 now. You might get it for less on Luggage Store. I spent ages searching for something professional and I get a lot of compliments on it at work;

It's really smart, very well made, feels and looks expensive, and expands too. Although not a bloody pen holder in sight, so I bought one of those backpack organisers which was perfect.

Wenger or Targus offer proper protection. They have city/urban ranges these day that are more stylish than they used to be. My wenger backpack is ten years old.

Kipling Micah backpack I have this and love it. It's really comfortable and great for laptop lugging about. Kipling have some other good backpacks but the 'city' has flimsy straps so wouldn't recommend that.

Not sure the straps look great after looking at the back photo.

I have a Knomo one which I still love about 3 years later. It's more than your £100 budget, but I saw in M&S the other day that they're doing a copy of it for £45

Another vote for Sandqvist! I have the Stig style one and it’s great for schlepping around all my work crap.

I've got one of these and am really happy with it. Had a few compliments as well:

Would you possibly consider a briefcase or laptop bag? A black leather (or faux) briefcase looks quite classy/expensive in my opinion - you can carry it with the handle or with a shoulder strap. Suits corporate attire very well.
