Will it be too warm for jeans?

Jeans take ages to dry if get wet. Thinner cotton trousers are better.

I've only got work cotton trousers. Have got some cotton culottes.

I'm more wondering about temperatures than wetness - find it really hard to work out what clothes 'go' with which temperatures, other than extremes!

I'm in about 20 degrees here and I'm not missing jeans. But do see some wearing them so not too hot for them. But it's rarely a constant temp - depends if the sun shines.

Just spent a couple of days in Edinburgh where it was kind of warm, kind of cold and on/off raining. I wore jeans, trainers, nice short sleeve top, fleece and had a packable raincoat. Also had sunglasses. This was a good combo.

I don't think jeans at 20C would be too bad- this is what I'd still wear when it's warmish.

Culottes plus trainers would be nice.

It may help to know where you're going OP.

Cotton trousers (maybe cropped), trainers and t-shirts with rain jacket and cardis or whatever coverup you prefer.

Cotton trousers or jeans. No cropped trousers!

I think it's got to be pretty hot not to need jeans and at that temp they'd be good in the evening

Lol - this thread shows how difficult it is!

I've opted for:
jeans to roll up
culottes
a midi skirt
shorts
a jumpsuit
a dress

Hopefully that will give me enough choice!
