Which makeup bag do you use?

I’ve been decluttering my makeup for about six years now with the intention of fitting everything in one makeup bag and I’m almost there, I have a few products I’m working on but reckon I could be there by the end of this year or at least by Spring next year.

Currently I switch between a Trinny London one which was free with my order and a Bobbi Brown travel sized one which came along with the travel skincare set, before that I had a tiny one from Superdrug which is great for just a few products.

I’d like to have a really good quality makeup bag that will hopefully last forever once I reach my goal of downsizing everything.

Which bag do you use currently and would you recommend?

I'm generally a bit lukewarm on Orla Kiely, and this is on the spendy side, but her makeup bags are brilliant. Lots of compartments. Highly recommended https://www.johnlewis.com/orla-kiely-scallop-flower-spot-medium-wash-bag-multi/p4005401

I have a big Benefit case type one that sits on my dresser, then a little one in my bag, which is by Bella Freud and was free with Elle magazine. I store lipsticks in a Tupperware box, facing down with their names visible, and also have an overflow bag of stuff not in regular use -that one was a Clinique GWP.

In the bag bag is just whatever lipstick I am wearing, tweezers, lip-balm, a cream blusher, and a Becca highlighter. I keep a powder compact and brush in my desk drawer at work.

I love my Smythson one in their iconic blue leather. Plain, simple and classy. They do wash bags too.

Thanks all, that Orla one is lovely! Love the colour of the Anya one too.

Just went on the Smythson site, they look great, I’ll have a good browse there too.
