Couldn't think of any sort of creative title, I'm afraid! Link to old thread

So, stitchfix, in case you don't see it amongst the final defection/defecation posts, huff! Are they high street, or is it more unusual brands?

Hahaha that made me laugh Cherries! Thanks for the new thread.

Yes it's a mix of shops. You can be quite specific in your style profile about where you shop currently and what you are looking for/aspiring to. My first box was too mainstream high street. The clothes were from Monsoon, Warehouse, Mango etc. All brands which I actually quite like but not inspiring pieces from there. I put that in my feedback and this box was a better mix. I want to discover new brands rather than just shop the high street which I could do without paying a stylists fee. You can specify how much you would be prepared to pay for a coat, trousers, a top for instance and which of these things you'd prefer to see in your 'fix'. I think the magic is meant to happen after your stylist gets to know you after a few boxes. The first selection I received seemed to be based on algorithms rather than my personal style but I guess the more money you spend, the more invested your stylist becomes in getting it right

Brands this time Cherries were Joules, All Saints, a Danish brand called In Wear and Sugarhill Brighton. If I increased the amount I'd allow them to spend on each item I guess the clothes would get more individual. Currently my box comes out at £200 if I were to buy everything (including 20% Discount). That's for 5 items

Hello all....

I have got a sensible Hush question...
Do Hush do a new Kensington every season? I have decided I would like one and have enough John Lewis vouchers to make this happen. but the current one is only available in a tiny size.

Theyve done one the last few seasons that i can remember.
Have you looked at the PR shots fuzzy?

Love those trousers @Huffthepuff!
Great clothes vibe for @soy, looking very cool

Been v busy with work so not had time to post but have been watching all.
Liking the Scandinavian chic @ilovecherries but whenever I try pull that off I just don’t look right whereas you wear it so well.
Jealous of @laskas idyll there. So perfect. Gorgeous colours on that dress!
Anyone recommend a bargain Freya or fantasie bikini, think someone said about a cheap site? I have a couple but have had years and remembered how horrifically saggy by boobs looked in them last summer! Perky, I am not!!

Thank You cherries for the new thread! Great title (we will not mention the defect twin word again 😂 but FYI if you ever use it in a Spanish speaking country they’d understand immediately as it’s practically the same...Latin root).

Thanks dinky go for a Fantasie bikini, they’re great! Belle Lingerie does them cheaply but also recommend this style (I have it in black and tempted by the blue but none left in my size) in the figleaves site:

Cherries I bought the Stylebook app as well but gave up on it after my first couple of attempts at cataloguing sessions. However your 2/3 items a day is a much better idea and I might give it another go now.

Laska I am green with envy at your lovely kaftan and another 2 weeks of kaftan-y wafting to go Smile

Just checking in on new thread..l just may have ordered Huffs Joule's trousers -just to see of course -😁 but I also like these ones from Jigsaw of course I am just in ' endless summer' mode right now so I must be practical .
I like the idea of stitchfix but I think it may be a bit dangerous!

I have been totally miserable with my boobs the last week. 5 months post op and suddenly I was beleaguered with pain, itching, burning, aching, electric shock feelings etc. I was thoroughly pissed off till I realised I am having some sort of spontaneous transformation. The shape has changed beyond recognition (for the better) in about 5 days, and while I’m still wearing compression bras, I’ve measured myself this morning and have also dropped a cup size in the same period. I have a proper gap between them and everything (previously so swollen they touched in the centre). My cosmetic outcome till now wasn’t great naked (and I didn’t really care as my main driver was orthopaedic, and the difference there has been amazing, plus dressed I looked fine), but suddenly a good cosmetic outcome looks possible as well.

To celebrate, all the peach fuzz that had grown on my head for the last month however, fell out overnight. DH had noticed when he got up that I had lost a lot so left me a note to say if I wanted he’d pop home at 10 to shave it all for me, so just waiting for him. Bald I can cope with, mangy dog look I just can’t.

Well I was always flat/small chested when I was in my 20's, 30's and 40's. I am a 32E when measured but hate a tight band so wear a 34DD and i absolutely hate having a chest now. [For me this is having a chest] I hate it and loved being pretty flat chested. Is this the menopause? It sucks. I know its not that big but when i put certain t-shirts on i feel i have two blobs. So i can totally get why you had it @cherries and pleased that you they are looking good now.

Well i did a sneaky order of the star culottes. They came this morning and they are pretty big. So i sent for a 10. They are beautiful though and thoroughly recommend. They are however bunchy around the waist and pockets [ a review mentions as such] so have sent for the smaller. I should have gone with the advice. Noticing that they are looking like going out of stock soon so if anyone is interested in them buy now as i doubt at this late stage they will restock that many.
