Seasalt do petites now. Plenty of lovely summer dresses.

Late to this love but I found the much-recommended Next linen dresses spectacularly unflattering. I'm a small 10, DD or E boobs, 5ft 3, and if they fit on the bust they just hang shapelessly down and bypass my (small) waist.

Something with a bit of stretch is better - I quite like Anna Field dresses from Zalando and am going to check out Mountain Warehouse too ....

Thank you, I will instal the Next app.

I like the white stuff dress, looks a bit more fitted than the next ones.

I’m 5.3 and a size 12 with big boobs

I find the Next app better to filter as you can select in stock only etc.

There are 215 size 12 dresses in Petite length on the app, and even fewer on the actual site for some reason!

There’s hardly anything left on the Next site in my size (they don’t seem to have much stock anymore) and they have less designs in the petite range. I ordered a couple playsuit and one dress from next to try as it’s free to return.

The Next linen summer dresses are lovely-about £25 and come in different lengths.

Next and Vila have great summer dresses that skim the figure & are lightweight.

Thanks wine I like the look of those, I’m not very fashionable, looking for something basic and comfortable and they look perfect.

This is probably hideously unfashionable but I've bought quite a few dresses from Mountain Warehouse the past few summers, I just really like the way they fit (same age/size as you) and the fact they have pockets!

I’m open to the idea of a playsuit as long as it’s not too short.

Would a play suit be better?

Looking for a couple summer dresses but struggle to find anything I like. I need to be able to wear a bra so nothing strapless or strappy, I’m only 5”3 so most dresses are too long on me (would like slightly above knee), nothing too floral or bright. I am a young 37 size 12 with size D boobs. All the dresses I have looked at seem to have no shape, I look like a sack of spuds in most of them. Please help, what dresses are you wearing for the summer?
