They're these from Asos. They are comfy for me, proper denim, no stretch, but think a bit high crotched?

Stumpedasatree Mon 13-May-19 11:04:26

For reference, I'm a size 6, 5ft 3 with long legs and shortish torso!

They don’t really do anything for you. I think the newer slim leg style would suit you a lot better if you want to go high waist.

They remind me of the jeans I used to wear as a child in the 80s and not in a good way. They are really shapeless. I am not fashionable though.

Duster12 Mon 13-May-19 11:07:33

What shoes will you be wearing with them?

Stumpedasatree Mon 13-May-19 11:08:29

Thank you! As I thought. I would have worn them rolled up with trainers.

Baloonphobia Mon 13-May-19 11:10:12

They remind me of jeans I wore as an early teen too.

Branleuse Mon 13-May-19 11:12:43

i think they look fine. Theres a lot to be said for having a really comfy pair. You dont need to tuck tshirt in tho

sheshootssheimplores Mon 13-May-19 11:14:01

You have a beautiful figure. Personally I would go for a more slim fitting jean.

Verite1 Mon 13-May-19 11:16:19

Don’t like them I’m afraid. Not very flattering either bearing in mind you are only a 6.

Ariela Mon 13-May-19 11:24:56

I wear this style with steel toe capped boots for mucking out the horses.

NannyRed Mon 13-May-19 11:28:24

If you want to look like a man, they’re fabulous.

I don’t think they do anything for you at all. I’d not wear them, I’d not want my adult daughters wearing them, they look ugly and shapeless.

Stumpedasatree Mon 13-May-19 11:42:36

It's ok, I don't want to look like a man grin. They are going back.

hugoagogo Mon 13-May-19 12:13:15

I think they look great.
They fit you really well and you say they are comfy, why would you not keep them?

banivani Mon 13-May-19 15:03:16

My daughters who are young and thin wear them and I think they look great. On me they look a little to like the real thing.

Fresta Mon 13-May-19 17:59:35

Nanny - what a strange comment! Why wouldn't you want your daughters wearing those jeans? Does it matter if they like them? Jeans change shape with the fashion and looser jeans are becoming popular- They are ok if that's the look you like- it's quite fashionable to have this style rolled up and wear shorter with sandals or trainers.

CountFosco Mon 13-May-19 18:35:02

I think they look good, probably roll up a bit at the bottom but these are a lot more fashionable than skinnies.

DontCallMeShitley Mon 13-May-19 18:46:54

What do they look like rolled up? It can make a lot of difference.

Stumpedasatree Mon 13-May-19 19:46:29

I didn't try rolling them up sad they are back off to Asos now.

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair Mon 13-May-19 22:12:22

Good call- you looked like you were off to wash the car in those....

WhoKnewBeefStew Mon 13-May-19 22:15:55

You look like you’ve got a lovely figure but you can’t really tell. Not v flattering I’m afraid

Wowserme Mon 13-May-19 22:17:39

You have a lovely figure... buy some skinny stretch jeans, these can be rolled up and will look good up or down
You’ve got a fabulous figure so show it Off. X

I thought the jeans looked great, very young-looking and modern.

StateofIndependance Tue 14-May-19 12:34:40

Skinny jeans are old hat now. You simply will not look fashionable in them. So if that's a concern you gotta try these other styles.

spanishwife Tue 14-May-19 12:34:50

I thought they looked great, but need a more modern cut t-shirt and hairstyle, so unless you are very chic and trendy throughout your entire look, a no go really.
