@Ella the kitchen refurb sounds sooo good

I have a Baukjen leather jacket in cream in my defence bought vastly reduced. I like it but slightly regret purchasing as I’m always frightened I’ll ruin it due to it’s paleness and thus remains the least worn of all my leather jackets. I also have some jersey tops from them, again sale buys. Nice thick jersey but pretty unremarkable otherwise. It is an overpriced brand.

I recommended Ghost in another thread and now lusting after some of their satin dresses, very boho and floaty but IRL not what my wardrobe needs right now...

Soy I quite like a bit of Baukjen but totally agree they are over-priced. The leather jacket sounds nice, how long ago did you buy it? I actually bought a few items from them recently but the 20% discount code didn't work. When I phoned up the next day they said there was nothing they could do so offered me a gift voucher instead Wouldn't surprise me if they went under tbh.

And I'm struggling to see where you got the impression you looked like a sack from the black Jamie dress...you look great - though I agree the leopard one is more special. I'm kind of with soy - how many black summer dresses does one girl need... still bought it, though, in the small, as that may minimise sack issues

laska - it sounds like you're having an awful time Hope everything resolves soon. I assume this is the family member you've had previous Issues with, who sounds like a right PITA.

I always look longingly at baukjen, but have never actually bought anything. Nothing really grabs me enough to justify the cost tbh.

Looking forward to the kimono - I got a dispatch note, but no indication of when it will arrive. Hopefully tomorrow if that's when soy's is coming. Exciting about the handbag soups! I'd love to see that "worn" too - I always seem to have trouble picturing strap length etc.

Its blooming freezing here today too - and raining. Kind of regretting putting all my winter stuff away at the weekend. I've been putting off going to the shop to get some milk all day, 'cos I'll have to take my slippers off. But then I realised I really needed some coffee, so have just braved it (cold better than black coffee IMO). Brrrrr.

Oh yes, I purchased these. Not Hush, but thought people might be interested. Too flat to wear much, but always fancied some tattoo wings on my feet and these are an easier option!

@Binkybix yes it's all very stressful but it will be so worth it when it's all done - new extension sounds very exciting... hope it's going well. I have the M&S dupe leopard print leggings and wear them with the wide jersey top in forest green or a grey wide neck long tube top from phase eight. These are really the only two tops I have that work with them and I haven't worn them very often to be honest. I might wear them more in the summer with black flip flops and an oversized black or white v neck t shirt.

@binx love the winged sandals! They made me . Ditto as Ella for leopard leggings but also I find that with the Hush long line vests which look a bit like a mini skirt on me (vertically challenged) I can then wear a shorter sweat on top. Today about to go to Pilates and I’m wearing a grey long vest with Hush starry leggings and a Hush turquoise sweat on top. Another week I wore the leopard leggings to Pilates with a black long Hush vest and a burgundy sweat. Any long black/grey jumper or top would work well with it.

@soups it was around 2 years ago reduced to just over £200 in their sale and got an xtra 10% off sale price too so it was a good buy and the leather is super soft but I reckon the Hush ones are more flattering (I’ll tell you when I get round to buying the navy one...with a good code I hope). Look forward to seeing your new bag!

binky I wear my leggings with my wide tops and my Ivy dresses mostly, .. and other long tops jumpers .. usually with ankle boots but yesterday with trainers..I think they are really versatile and so far the Hush ones have stood up to much Laska ill-use and many washes!

Soy you have read my mind, I was thinking it was you that had a really pretty ghost dress last summer & was going to have a little look on website later.
I think it was never who said a few days ago, that clothing seems to have got very expensive, I was gobsmacked at the baujken prices admittedly some it is very pretty, but blimey.
I dunno I’m bored with everything at the moment, maybe because I haven’t been buying anything it’s made me a bit meh & definitely a bit more wtf at the prices.

Ooh Soy very pretty, I’m on my dry cleaners Christmas card list as I’m always getting stuff altered, it’s annoying though as it adds £ to the cost of anything, I have a really nice tailored ghost jacket & a silk dress which are years old I still wear sometimes.

Had a major clearout today & brought straight to the charity shop, so making sure I didn’t start getting stuff back out😂
I’m currently compiling a list of stuff to fill wardrobe gaps & that would go with what I already have, rather than buying random stuff indiscriminately & wasting shed loads of money, crikey I’m finally getting some sense, I do think a lot of my buying has been to try & make me happy & fill a void, which is ridiculous as it doesn’t & has left me feeling guilty & stressed about money, time to change methinks.

I buy a few bits and pieces from Baukjen but never at full price. Their jersey washes and wears well and I have a couple of their long rouched skirts which are great for work.
I wonder how much they sell at full price as there is always an offer on and they email every week with a new offer (take note Hush 😉)
