men in baseball hats.... good look or bad look?

DH needs, or thinks he needs, a hat for our short break in barcelona next months.

I think baseball caps are an extremely bad look when teamed with cropped trousers and bare feet with sandals.

Am I right? And what would be a viable alternative to baseball caps?

Thank you all in anticipation.

A rumpled straw hat - anything but a baseball cap. They're complete pants.

Bad look, but sometimes Dh has to wear one to stop his poor bald head burning!! He also has an Indianna Jones style thing, which I personally think looks much better!

Dh has a hat - like a...well, a hat hat. With a brim. But soft. Not like a pith helmet or a sombrero. It doesn't look too ridiculous. I think it's AirWalk and he got it in a surfy shop.

Troutpout's dh has a hat with flowers on. Now that looks ridiculous .

It's a bit like this - but beige

very bad look

DH has a panama-shaped straw one for poncing about in and a waxed cotton bush hat for, er, poncing about in.

The waxed one is a bit Indiana Jones I suppose...

i almost hit the kerb in my car today looking at a spectacularly good looking guy cycling up the road in a baseball hat

so it's bad, because if i could have seen him properly i would have been in more control of my car
