That doesn't cost the Earth.

I know, I know, I really should be using a thermal protector because I blow dry and straighten my hair, but the hair stylist noticed just how dry my hair and scalp are.

I need help!

Tell me your product success stories.

Aussie 5 min miracle - but only buy when it's on offer - usually 3 for 2 or the like at Boots

tresemme is excellent and really reasonable.

comes in a big tub for about £3.99 so you get lots of treatments out of it.

Leave on for 10 mins and your hair is really perked up.

I think I'll give the Tres Semme a whirl.

It's really, really dry and so is my scalp.

Any conditioner can be a deep treatment if you leave it on and then wrap your hair in a towel for about 10-20 mins. A good spray for heat defense - spec straightening - is a spray by V05 - it's specifically for straightening - it's worked wonders on my hair!!

Olive oil for your scalp. Massage it onto scalp whilst its dry (or get your dh to do it for ya ) then wash as usual - dont forget to really rinse away any loosen dry skin that's been slushed off by the oil - and tresemme it up. You'll come up a treat!!
