Well, obviously I don't think so, but I do think they might be for the teens only. (They're a bit Ugg-ish).

I want nice flat boots with grippy soles for this winter.

hmmmm well i would say it depends on how you dress, if you are normally quite conservative then a deffo no no. But if you like to be a bit outrageous they could look okay with the right clothes. Wouldn't say i like them though

I think I'm in age-denial. I'm not very good at wearing grown-up shoes.

So I need boots that are youthful but not mutton-dressed-as-lamb-ish.

i like them when they are nnot rolled down would look fab with leggings or skinny jeans and a slouchy fine knit jumper with t shirt underneath

Do you think there's a big difference between what you can wear at 25 and what you can wear at 31?

I'm a new Mum, and I want to change my style a bit.

I don't want to be like Liza Minelli and decide that black polo-necks suit me at 30, and wear them 'til I die.

No Boobedoobedo, I think you have to be careful, but I'm 28 and will not be adapting my style once i reach thirty. The key is to wear clothes that you feel yourself in, if you feel confident then you will look nicer!

Try Camper for youthful practical boots that are a bit more, well, subtle. Clarks do some good Camper-esque ones too.

I like plain leather boots myself but I can't get my head around the idea of wearing knee-high boots over jeans (unless you happen to be riding a horse at the time). Isn't that what ankle boots are for? .

That's my problem with the knee-high boot. I'm not mad on the over-jeans look (although it keeps your hem dry), and they make my calves hot under the jeans.

Lol at Northerner's violent aversion to Clarks. In their defence, they have got a leetle more stylish of late.

And I greatly appreciated being called a baby .
