I paid £30 for a pair of Boden slippers in thesale and I could wear them clubbing they are that pretty.

Sorry but most clarks things are not at all comfy

I'm by no means skint but I could not justify spending 100 odd quid on on pair of shoes..I'm in the "I could get 5 pairs for that!" school - inbred into me

Unfortunately I have the opposite, quality not quantity, bred into me, but don't really have the cash to match. Dh restrains my spending....
