Gel polish dupe of Chanel Rouge Noir?

NormaLouiseBates · 10/02/2019 11:00

Does anyone know which gel polish is a close dupe of Chanel Rouge Noir please?

I've tried a few but they just weren't right... Gelish Touch of Sass - gorgeous but not quite dark enough. Shellac Oxblood - again not quite dark enough.

I'm looking for that really deep, dark black/red combination without any purple or brown tones at all 🤔

TIA 😊

Following as I have also been searching and haven't managed to find one yet. I got a blue sky one recently but it's disappointingly purple.

I don't have it but I've heard this is very close to Rouge Noir

https://www.cuccio.co.uk/cuccio-colour-veneer-13ml-romania-after-dark.html

Have also heard that using two coats of Gelish Bella's Vampire (very dark purple) followed by one coat of Gelish Stand Out (quite bright red) gives a results that is very similar to Rouge Noir.

Watching with great interest as this is my favourite nail colour. I used to buy Burberry Black Cherry which is darker than Oxblood and has no brown or purple tones, but I can't currently find it in stock anywhere. It might be available on eBay though

Thanks all!

@MrsChollySawcutt - I do love Gelish polishes, but think I'll give the Cuccio one a go first as it's only £7.95 on Nail Polish Direct whereas 2 of the Gelish ones would cost me £44.00 almost!

@FloofyDoof - Wicked looks very close but I can only find it in normal polish, not in gel, which is sad.

@lettymoo - the Burberry one is available on eBay... £28.00 with delivery though and it's not a gel.

Normal polish (no matter how carefully I apply it) only lasts a day maximum on me before chipping. Doesn't matter if it's cheap or expensive. Very frustrating.

I'm going to order the Cuccio one now - will report back once I've got it.

@TacoFlavouredKisses have you used that brand? I've never heard of it but it does look lovely.

So I ordered the Cuccio one on Monday and annoyingly got an email last night to say the order had been cancelled as it was out of stock 🙄 so have now ordered the Gelish one, Black Cherry Berry so we'll see what that one is like.

Sorry to open a long dead thread, but I wondered how people had got on in their search, as I'm currently on the same search!
@NormaLouiseBates - any luck?

I thought Revlon did one (Lord knows it would stay on longer than Chanel!!). Called Vixen I think.

Thanks @deathraystare and @everybodyknowsus, but I'm looking for a gel rather than a polish. x

Looks like that's been discontinued, @TwoHoots74, everywhere is out of stock.

Just did mine (second ever application, and I'm quite chuffed!) and think the colour is good. It's Urban Graffiti in Indulgence.

back2be definitely not discontinued. I'm a nail tech and stock Jessica. It's just a hugely popular colour.
