Warm and comfy and feminine loungewear..

Has anyone seen anything that looks really nice, is cosy and doesn't come across as slobby? Does it even exist?
I'm a pear shape (unsure if this is relevant or not but I thought I'd bung that fact in there).
I rarely buy BNWT, usually its 2nd hand eBay or the charity shop if I'm fortunate, so I have no clue where to start looking for loungewear.
All I know is, is that I'm cold..but I want something 'nicer' than my faded, worn too many times Nike bottoms. Blush
(I have been getting by in fleecey hareem pants but I need something more now).

Any pointers in the right direction? FlowersCake

Just checking in to see if anyone has any ideas. I don't (sorry). I would like some nice loungewear too but struggle to find any because I'm 5 ft 8 and all the bottoms tend to be too short.

I've just bought these from Fat Face...

(Sorry for clunky link; am on app)

Cheap they are not. Sexy, they are also not! But OH MY GOD they are the softest, most comfiest things I've ever worn. I absolutely love them. I'm persuading DH I need the matching hoodie Halo

ohsweet Thanks! How tall and what size are you and are they slim fit or 90's baggy?

There was an old thread about looking like an ‘off duty ballerina’ - if you find it let me know. I’d like to read it again!

I'm 5ft 6, size 12. They're true to size and a perfect length. They're not fitted or baggy; inbetween which I love. Grin

I love white company for loungewear - I've got their navy star print joggers (very fitted joggers) for evening. Plus I love Boden pull ons and joules pull ons. Rosie at M and S has some lovely loungewear things - I got some cashmere ones for £18 in the sale.

Bam do lovely soft lounge wear . I’ve just ordered from the sale a couple of jersey shirt dresses in a Henley style plus a sweatshirt style. The fabric is cosy, soft and breathable. Also the yoga harem style pants are wonderfull. There are camisole vest dresses that you could layer with cashmere socks and jumper for warmth.
The ultimate glamorous lounge wear is silk pjs and a cashmere robe/cardigan though.

@ohsweet- I have these and the matching hoodie. I found they piled badly in the inner thigh sadly- but my goodness they are comfy!

No piling here yet...even if they do it will be worth it Grin

Alas I'm finding that on me there's a fine line between off-duty-ballerina cream and off-to-the-garden-centre greige

To be honest, I have a hard time finding trousers. I want something with the warmth and substantialness(sp?) of good quality joggers but comfy like pyjamas, and it has to be pretty.
Pyjamas aren't warm enough but are really nice looking and joogers are ok but I want something nicer.
No leggings. I've come to not like them.
Perhaps I should start my own loungewear line because I can't find anything that fits the bill.

Just looked at Bam - not really my thing.
Oysho - the clothes look a bit flimsy.

I hate sounding picky. My house is draughty and never toasty. Every year I remember that the year before I was constantly cold and had promised to do something about it for the next winter. (And then I get complacent 😫 and I'm back to square one again)
I've previously refused to wear a onesie. Maybe I should just give in.

I don't generally shop at Primark, but I needed some soft comfy clothes to recuperate from surgery in for a few weeks, so I had a look in the one on my very rural county town high st in a panic to find something in time.

I'm really pleased with a stretchy, thin fleecy type material leopard print (so not my usual style!) top and loose bottoms. They had loads of colours and patterns. I have had visitors wearing these and not felt like a twat.

I also got Primark brushed cotton pyjamas, the ones that come tied in ribbon, and they are great too: 100% cotton, soft, drawstring waist.

I just bought a black nightshirt from Primark (only ever buy kids PJs in there and accessories!) - it’s edged in white and bad weekend club on the pocket. Hubby commented I look “very sexy” in it...

I bought some wool, but with stretch, slim fit ‘cargo’ trousers from Zara. They have patch pockets on the side but are slim fit (with an elasticated waist). Got them in the sale for £15. They are amazing!

Bought an olive green pair and a white pair. I wear them with a soft pink cashmere jumper (bought from Pure in their summer sale) and a white cashmere jumper (bought from Asos in the summer sale. I ALWAYS buy cashmere in the summer...).

The patch pockets and wool mean I can sling on a pair of trainers and leave the house in them, if necessary.

They’re not leggings. They’re not trousers.

They are the answer!

I think to get the 'luxe' look you need velvet, wool, cashmere, sheepskin etc,

The fleece joggers from m&s look great, warm too. I never knew they did lounge.

I would still like things I could possibly leave the house in.

Thanks. The M&S don't look too bad. It's a pity my local shop closed down and I'd need to go to the city centre to have a look. Which is a mission.

Primark. Ok. I could go and take a look. I don't mind Primark, actually. Funny because I was thinking of years ago about Primark, Lidl and Netto and how most people wouldn't be seen dead in them. They were weird back then. I'd have to get on a train and travel to my nearest primark and back then Primark was like a big warehouse with horrible bright overhead lights. No music, no mannequins in the windows, everything glareingly lit in blue/green bright white lighting. Tons of stuff on the floor and everyone looking agitated and sheepish at being seen shopping in there! I used to buy all my summer clothing, being poor I where else could I buy three raaraa skirts, eight tank tops, six pairs of leopard print knickers in purple, yellow, green and orange, a beach bag, brown belt, earrings, and cardigan all for £50! Happy days.
Bloggers, social media and God Knows what else has made Primark do a complete 180.

Sorry for the tangentBlush
