neveradullmoment99 Wed 06-Feb-19 18:02:15

OOooooh we need a new thread! Only 10 posts away.

Ellapaella Wed 06-Feb-19 18:01:52

I agree never - was too lazy to take them off as it was freezing today!grin

neveradullmoment99 Wed 06-Feb-19 17:59:32

I think they would look better maybe without the socks?

neveradullmoment99 Wed 06-Feb-19 17:58:37

@Ella, love the cords. I think they would look good rolled up with your dm's or even with heels or trainers.

neveradullmoment99 Wed 06-Feb-19 17:57:45

If it helps, I have a 14 in the leopard jacket. Its a good fit on me. I think the 12 would have been neat. I think that Soyo has a 14 too.

Laska2Meryls Wed 06-Feb-19 17:49:43

ooh but I see they have that Boden jacket in a 14 and 16 now and in the sale.. I'd probably need a 14 (or possibly a 16) for norkage and shoulders) what size have you got Soy?

Ellapaella Wed 06-Feb-19 17:44:52

@Laska2Meryls yes Top shop 'Mom' cords
SeaSalt have some truly lovely ones in as well, just a bit over my budget at the moment.
Silk shirt is a good idea Soyo thanks smile

SoyYo Wed 06-Feb-19 17:44:00

Will do @laska smile thanks for the birthday wishes too (it was last Sunday but a weekend I’d rather forget)

SoyYo Wed 06-Feb-19 17:41:41

@miffy how lovely and what a treat! Given my erm advanced age my visit was in Jan 79 so we are talking 40 years ago now! It was a fabulous place and I will never forget Kruger and the fabulous tracker who took us to see all the beautiful beasties.
@laska what the hell is wrong with Hush? confused I can’t believe they don’t have your account by just doing a simple address search...
@ella the cords look good on you, and fine with the jumpers you’re wearing in the pics and your stomping DM’s to toughen them up. I think they make a nice change from the usual jeans we all wear. Would also look good with silky shirts, and if you want to go full blown country chic a tweed jacket.

Laska2Meryls Wed 06-Feb-19 17:38:06

Happy Birthday (a little late ) Soy xxxx. I will email you later

Laska2Meryls Wed 06-Feb-19 17:34:40

Ella well I love these cords with what you ar e modelling them with .. the are fab.. Top Shop did you say?

soy if you are thinking of ebaying your leopard coat please do ask me first before you list it!!

Laska2Meryls Wed 06-Feb-19 17:32:20

Ok so this is very silly getting..

I Emailed Hush earlier , who now tell me that they cannot find an account for me and could I give them any details like mail address ( they emailed me on it ) and recent order numbers ..

So now I have some random PJs and no account (but I do I can access it ) and no Hush Friends (because I have no account) ..I reckon they have had a system fart .

the PJs btw are the jersey ones but in an XL.. so not much use to me unless I got them altered . though the top could be worn as slouchy loungewear i suppose

@SoyYo, I am so looking forward to going! My Dad lives there for part of the year - by the Kruger park actually - so we have visited in 2009, 2014 and now this year. I turn 50 in September so instead of a big party (which I would hate) I decided that all 5 of us will go there, and we are going early so we can experience it in green (we usually go in August when the landscape is quite barren). It will be strange digging out the shorts and Ts in April though.
We are very lucky in that we get to meet lots of locals, both black and white and we get to experience the local culture as well as the fancy safari places. I can imagine it was very different a couple of decades ago though.

FuzzyPuffling Wed 06-Feb-19 17:30:50

PS You all look fab in your new clothes!

FuzzyPuffling Wed 06-Feb-19 17:30:12

len and not...any room on your bench for me please?

I have spent the past couple of days upcycling a coffee table (bought for a very few quid from the local FB selling page). I am really rather pleased with it.. limed top and pale blue legs. It goes with my slightly coastal home. I have decided that when I feel a bit grot about my body and therefore clothes, I would rather spend time on my house. Logical?

Ellapaella Wed 06-Feb-19 17:14:28

Excuse the crumpled orange jumper btw...

Ellapaella Wed 06-Feb-19 17:04:36

Think my cords will go back..
Have had a try on and really not sure what I'd wear with them.. any ideas?
Not sure they are really 'me' although they are super comfy and I love them, I'm just not quite sure how to wear them. They remind me a bit of my Dad! He likes to wear dark green cords, usually with a fleece and walking boots grin Not sure his look is really my look. But they are nice and maybe with the right things could look quite good?
Honest thoughts most welcome.
