I am absolutely up for shopping my wardrobe, except I have nothing in it more than a year old, so I will need to relax the rules!

I need some input from you lovely people. I've managed to snap up 3 lovely cashmere scarves from JL at half price. I'm only going to keep one, but which one? The navy one with pink stars is Wyse London, the other two are JL collection.

I always love the look of next trainers - have a white pair with silver stars from last year - but they’ve never been worn, I just can’t get comfy in them. I do like those ones with the navy and red though.

not, I think you win the jumper prize!

I like the star ones ( I do love a star) I'd say the lighter star one would probably be the most useful .

hendricksy · 02/01/2019 16:18

They are the forever comfort ones so I'm hopeful .. I've got a lovely star pair from the summer and I agree they aren't comfy .. I will send straight back if these feel the same .

soups, I helpfully love them all, but for me, the striped one has the edge.

@dontcallmelen are you looking for a tweed blazer? I have this one from Reiss which was one of the casualties of my wardrobe clear out - I've hardly worn it but it's very nice, you'd be welcome to it if you'd like to try it? I won't be at all offended if it's not your thing but I'm happy to send it to you if you'd like to try.

Thank you cherries! I’m off to pilates soon (nothing short of a miracle will get rid of my Xmas excesses, but Pilates is a good start)
Will catch up properly with latest chat later.
In the meantime @not you’ve had a good year jumper wise but at least you and a lot of others only started in 2018...I have no excuse! Grin

Hello all Smile
Need to catch up with the last thread so just marking my place for now. The Next trainers look nice. I have a white pair with a star on but I rarely wear them, maybe I will when the weather picks up. I really like some Boden trainers, they're kind of a mix of navy burgundy and snake print but I think they're OOS in my size now.

Soup I really like the navy/pink scarf the stripe is lovely as well, so no real help.
Not I’m thinking you win the jumper quest, I did just find another one with label on from phase eight though, so my tally is increasing 😃
Soy I thought it very Vivienne Westwood as well, enjoy Pilates am keeping the boden navy blazer, so thanks for the heads up on it.
It’s a lovely weight & a nice finish, also the cashmere jumper as it’s a nice bright pink & most of my jumpers are grey or navy so will make a nice injection of colour.
hendicksy trainers are lovely & a really good price, yy report back on comfort.
Ella will pm you.

Thanks for the new thread cherries. And luckily enough it means my jumper confessional will slide gradually into the bowels of S&B, so it's as if it had never happened, so I can pretend I have a Halo again!

Love all the scarves soups #nothelpful but I think the navy and pink stars is the most special, and it would make me happy whenever I wore it...Though I exchanged a Christmas present scarf for one of the smaller JL cashmere ones in the sale (dark grey with silver hearts) and it is lovely quality and pretty versatile, so maybe the grey starry one as a second choice? ( though I love a good star too...).

I like those trainers too hendricksy...esp. the leopard star ones. Let us know how you get on. I'm not really looking for new trainers (and I would wreck white ones in 3 milliseconds) but I do have some leopard ones coming from Boden alongside no jumpers though not holding out too much hope as the reviews aren't great.

That's a beautiful jacket Ella - the neck is really unusual and it would look fab with a plain black dress or something. Even if len doesn't go for it, you may be able to eBay, or I'm sure a charity shop would be delighted! (Hopefully they will realise its worth more than £3!!).

We've just been clearing put our Understairs Cupboard of Doom to make way for the new vacuum cleaner (rock and roll). I think I have spiders in my hair...Envy ( not envy).

Looking forward to trying the one-year-old challenge. Hopefully I can remember how long I have had stuff! Bottoms are easy...any that I had in 2017 have claw marks in the left thigh from where DCat used to haul herself onto my leg in the study (ouch)..so they generally had a v short period of looking decent. We lost her in Sept 2017, which was Sad but good news for trouser half life.
