Recommendations for cool-toned eyeshadow?

Hi! I find it really hard to pick the right eyeshadow colour. I tend to use neutral shades, but often look like I've got dirty eyelids... Please hep me get the right shade for my skin tone!

So! I've got brown eyes, far brown hair and a pale, reddish, cool-toned complexion. I've done my colours and was diagnosed as a "burnished winter". What shades do you recommend?

I have cool colouring and like Max Factor shadow in Burnt Bark. It’s difficult to describe the shade of brown - cool with almost a purple element to it. It’s tricky to judge this online so you really need to look in shops :-)

By Terry Ombré Blackstar in Misty Rock (apparently Kiko do a good dupe for this but haven’t tried it so can’t vouch for it myself but the By Terry is beautiful).

Also a nice neutral is Urban Decay Mushroom.

Sorry, not able to add anything useful other than I am a burnished winter too and I struggle with eye makeup too, everything looks smudged and a less.
I have given up, just wear eyeliner and bright red or cherry lipstick

I’m a burnished winter too and I’ve never found any eyeshadow that suits me.
I wear black eyeliner and mascara and that’s it

What lipsticks suit you?? I’m looking for a burgundy sort of colour

I love make up and I have struggled for years to find a decent cool palette. I've got loads ranging from Too Faced, Morphe, Violet Voss etc but the one I always go to for "everyday" is the one I least expected (as its MLM) which is Younique palette 1. I'm not a rep - promise!

It's interesting that pther people with my colouring struggle to find a flattering eyeshadow! I thought it was just me....

Thanks for the Younique suggestion, but I'm a little scared to approach reps as they can be quite persistent!

@Maraki what lipsticks do you wear?

Mac plumfull for a natural look
Mac Rebel for purples
Revlon cheries in the snow (in between fuschia and red)
Dior 743 is my favourite red (slightly cherry colour) and my best lipstick colour ever (even though the price hurts).
Mac lustering in the summer (pale pinky coral)
Bourjois color Boost 06 plum russian for an everyday balm and when I want a neutral colour (find it on ebay)
Maybelline super stay 24 hour in colour 510, a very intense red which lasts all day, great if you’re going out for a meal.

I have been experimenting with makeup revolution iconic 2 palette for eyes. It’s a dupe of Naked 2, which is supposed to be cool toned. I have downloaded tutorials from pinterest, but I had limited success, definitely not a wow moment. But at least I didn’t spend much!

Oh and OPI ‘I’ve got the blues for you’ both in normal polish and in gel, is the perfect winter nail polish.
