I meant to say laska I love the boots!
Cherries that jumper would look great with the faux leather MV leggings (or your actual leather leggings). What's the sizing like with stories?

I’ve had the jumper on all day, no signs of rubbing anywhere, and no itching at all. Cosy without being restrictive. If they had it in navy, cream, red or burgundy I’d buy the lot. Re size - it’s a medium, which I bought as the model was wearing an S and I’m def bigger than her. However, I could easily have worn S, just had a bit less slouch. I bought a jacket in the summer from them in a 14, which I was at the time, and it was a perfect fit, though it’s very oversized now. So I’d have said pretty TTS - smaller than Hush, but not tiny.

Hello! Found you... thanks for the new thread Ella. Hadn't realised we were so close to the end... will there be another before Christmas I wonder...

Sorry you haven't been feeling well never and miffy. Nothing worse when you're so busy!

I love the jumper cherries. It will look really good with loads of stuff as its quite long and a neutral colour. It really suits you!

Glad your haul is (mostly ) a success too happy. I have the Scarlett jumper in oatmeal and it is lovely and warm as you say. It works with lots of colours, and "brightens" an outfit (OK, it's beige...so not that bright, but you know what I mean!) I'm trying to get away from black and other dark colours where I can ( not that you'd know it from my wardrobe).

I think your outfit is great Laska. Totally "you" and appropriate for the occasion. The boots are amazing - love them! Will be thinking of you tomorrow. X

I too am suffering from the lurgy. Started with a cold but has progressed into a violent cough and feeling very chesty. Literally can't talk for more than a sentence without erupting into a coughing fit that leaves me wretching. Voice is all croaky and I'm feeling quite sorry for myself.
I would like an early night but lying in bed is even worse!
I think I'm going to have to stay off work tomorrow - I can't see how I can sit in clinic and talk to 6 patients in a row in my current sorry state. I coughed so hard today I made my nose bleed Shock.

Sending sympathies to all of you who also have the lurgy today. Maybe we can keep each other company from our sick beds tomorrow with Hush talk.

Thanks melen. I think I'll order a couple more things tonight... it truely is a slippery slope!

How funny sheep! We're in the middle of building a walk-in wardrobe so I'm taking this opportunity to get rid of all the clothes I don't love. A lot of stuff from the likes of H&M lose its shape so quickly. This time around I'm trying to creat my version of a capsule wardrobe - less individual bits but all good quality & go together. I love blacks, greys, neutrals & jewel colours. It's fun but quite daunting starting over!

Oh no sorry to all of those with the lurgies!!! Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Ella thanks, the only thing I found that helps is hot water & honey I don’t like whiskey or brandy but suspect one of those would help or gargling with TCP which was my DF remedy for every ailment known to man😂

happy that’s sounds exciting & a very good reason to overhaul clothes, I dream of a capsule wardrobe but I’m very impulsive & then buy stuff that I then discover have nothing to go with, thereby buying more stuff, I need to start buying for the life I have now not the life I used to have.

As for me, my sore throat still persists but its not come to much. Tomorrow we have a panto in the morning and the nativity in the afternoon so not a stressful day so unless i'm not well during the night, I will go in. How I am on Tuesday is another story. I will see.
@Ella, definitely don't go in. It wouldn't be good to spread it anyway.

melen that's exactly what I'm trying to do, though my circumstances keep changing. I have worked full time in a corporate environment, been a SAHM & right now I work part time (2-3 days per week) where at work I need to look smart casual & at home I usually dress like a slob!

Report
dontcallmelen · 09/12/2018 19:06

happy it’s such a hard thing to achieve I find, I get sidetracked by pretty sparkly stuff, which I absolutely don’t need, yet have very little lounging bout without scaring the neighbours clothes.

There are so many blogs about there saying how to build a capsule wardrobe but I can't be bothered to read them! I just plan to only buy say a top which goes with at least 2 of the bottoms I already own. I'm doing the same thing with my jewellery!
