Touche Eclat - true miracle worker or yet another marketing con?

Ok, I have held out for a long time. I first heard about it on MN. I like make up. I buy nice stuff. If I spend any money on ME it will be on nice make up. I only buy a certain brand of skincare that can't be bought in the shops but with make up I am a sucker for advertising. I have, over the years, been sucked into all sorts of things promising me longer lashes, fuller lips, etc etc etc.
So, what is so great about Touch Eclat? Do I have to have it? Will it change my life like my GHD hair straightners did?

I think it's good; if you usually benefit from wearing foundation under your eyes/round the base of your nose etc def worth giving it go. Shop around though I think I've seen if for less than £15 on ebay. Provided you get the correct shade you can get away with wearing just that rather than the full foundation and that IYSWIM

Hmmm - over-rated IMO. I reckon a good concealer (I like Laura Mercier) is much better

it irritates my eyes (most concealers do) - personally I really like the Almay range - the concealer is very good and non-irritating.

Doe stouche eclat come in shades? I didn't kow that.

I use it and I love it, I have dark circles adn would not be without it.

i bought the l'oreal cheapo version at the weekend 'touche magique'. it is pretty good. i found the touch eclat a little mawkish.

I used it and loved it for years but now it irritates my under eyes (nothing else does, am not allergic to anything) I think it is the brush.

It's fantastic stuff. Loads of imitators but still the best. More choice in shades and a creamy texture. Accept no substitutes.

its absolutely the best ever. i have tried cheaper ones but they dont cut the mustard.. whwevver i've rushed to do school drop off without putting it on the teachers always ask me if i'm very tired or if i have hayfever (???!!). i obv look utterly hideous without it!

and yes it will change your life

Is it true that M&S cosmetics are made by Clarins?

I like it but don't use it that often, only when I'm exceptionally knackered.
Rather offputtingly I find the brush gets a bit mouldy if you only use it from time to time.

I think it's a hugely overrated product. I finally succumbed to buying one after years of hearing how good it was and I was soooooo disappointed.
It was very drying, and triggered the eczema that I occasionally get around my eyes. Even before that, though, I didn't think it made much difference to the way I looked.
Really, I could kick myself for being so gullible! Seems to do the trick for some people, though - but looking at the other posts on here, it's clearly not for everyone!
