Winter wardrobe help

Can you help me? Please.
I live overseas in a hot country so no need for winter clothes.
In November I'm meeting
some girlfriends for a 4 night holiday in York. I want to look stylish and be warm but I'm so out of the loop on UK fashion and my girlfriends will all look lovely.
Need to order online obviously to be delivered to me here.
I'm 5'8'', very curvy size 16, 36G, slightly tanned and freckles, just below shoulder length auburn hair, aged 58 (but I'm told I look 48/50 on a very good day!), like a bit of glamour and boho and to be comfortable, heavy legs (yuk), well groomed.
Help me!!! I need clothes, boots, shoes. I've got a coat from Toast already.
Do your magic, MN style gurus, please.

I wore the petrol version dress of this yesterday! I wore mine with a long sleeved top, black tights and navy DMs, and felt like the bees knees. I can't advise you on the style front, but the midi dress is really lovely, I think.

I don’t like the bows on the straps of that dress or the blue label - they make it look like something a toddler would wear. Shame as they ruin what would otherwise be a potentially nice dress.

Thanks.
I think I'll order it and see how it looks.
I like it.
Any other ideas for me, please?

They aren't bows, well they have tied them as bows here which doesn't look great - the dungaree straps go through a loop then you tie them as you like. I slipknot them then tuck them away.
