We clashed... not intentional. Ignore perfumistas on holiday. Back on board. And thank you CountFosco.

Hello, lovely new thread! SOTD is MH Rose Silence.

my replacement bottle of killer rose arrived today, very very fast since i only emailed them yesterday afternoon! cannot fault their customer service at all

can't decide on what to wear tonight, just feel woolly headed, like i'm in a fog. I am having investigations though for possible epilepsy and i did have one of my 'funny turns' this afternoon and they do usually leave me feeling pretty rubbish Sad

Well done both - many thanks. That is spooky Count - was in a panic trying to come up with a thread name before you both came to the rescue. Brexit and lemons came to mind..but I didn't hit upon your clever MG reference - hats off to you!

SotD was Eau du Sud

SotE is Eau de Soliel Blanc - how you smell queuing for a hire car at that off-airport hire car place on the ring road in Palma. You had a liberal squirt of Gabrielle in Duty Free, and now you've whacked on a load of suntan cream as it's nearly 30 degree and the unshaded queue wraps all the way around to the car park....I like it Smile.

Oh! We're here instead Grin

Allbeauty have reduced prices on Miller Harris - 50mls for £39.95 and 100mls for £59.95. Must admit I am tempted by both Rose Silence and Feuilles de Tabac, but am going to be good.

SOTD has been MG Fire, which I love more each time I wear it.

Knackered and need an early night. Hope you feel better soon OneNight

I adore the car park and hire area at Beziers in the spring and autumn because you get a great whoosh of heat but it's a bit much in the summer. It's my favourite airport because it's tiny, but there's no duty free. Literally, one side in, the other out. Hyeres is also lovely, but with a little shop. On the plus side, both are quick, quick, quick to pass through before rules change.

Evening all.

Who was talking about Avery E on the old thread? Its become a strong like for me Grin

MrsLucas - I was disappointed with Eau de Soleil Blanc. TF fragrances seems to be very synthetic and bitter on my skin. Orchid Soleil is vile to me. The most synthetic ad horrible interpretation of tuberose ever. Still searching for a TF I can love (Velvet Orchid is OK...but I'd prefer Black Opium in that strand of perfume, iyswim).

I wore J'Adore this morning as an experiment, as used to love it but rejected it for mainstream boring. Its pretty nice, actually, Clean, soapy, but still a decent white floral if you're a WF lover like me.

Abandoned for Midnight in the Palace Garden this evening. Soooo gorgeous. Love Sarah Mac just for this one.

Yes, Eau de Soleil Blanc is larger than life, and a bit trashy, just like a holiday cocktail. Great fun; but there is a time and a place.

Have you tried Vert Boheme and Vert de Fleur ?

That was me. I think it was the group favourite in the first Big Sniff but was also the most expensive. I have 8ml and that will have to do me and then I'll have to find a cheaper alternative.

Place marking. Hope your flight was good after that delay pest

One hope you get some answers PDQ.

SOTD was the Mont Blanc Femme again. Need to sort out my perfumes as current financial situation means no new purchases for the foreseeable.
