I am going to a wedding night do next weekend. I've got no outfit, no shoes and no clue!

I am 5ft 2 size 16/18 and think supermarket/high street kind of budget.

Please help me find something!

What sort of colours do you like?
Dodrthy Perkins is always good for reasonably priced dresses This one is currently in the sale for £7!
What shoe size are you? Are you sure you don’t have any you could wear? How about a bag?

This one from Asda is similar and as your 5’2”, it would be a good length on you.

I like this one from New Look.

Of course another option would be charity shops. You can get great smart clothes as people often get rid of them after only a few wears.
I got a great silk dress for a wedding party from one.

Hi, thank you for your replies.
I'm not sure on style really or colour. My hair is darkish red if that helps with colour.

I feel a bit lost with my style lately. I hate my size and I was 41 recently. I don't know what to wear to go 'out out' so I don't look frumpy and also so I don't look like I'm trying to be a 20yr old again.

How about this?
www.everything5pounds.com/en/Striped-Hi-Lo-Skater-Dress/p/632505?q=:styleFacet:UK%2018

there is only 1 left in an 18.

There are a few good options on there imo and I'm a size 20 and have ordered a few things, often been good sizing.

Thanks they are really nice. I wondered about skater or vintage style because an advert for Elsie's Attic came up.
Maybe the flared skirt would help hide my dumpy legs?

Although the Elsie's Attic ones are quite bright maybe more daytime? and not too cheap

This one might be a bit more weddingy and good for your colouring, I should think

They are all lovely thanks for helping Smile
I'm only going to the night party not the daytime stuff. I think I keep looking at black to try and hide myself a bit.
I need to try and have a bit more confidence!

This navy lace one is nice and might be a good compromise instead of black.
